Is Eriksen really better than Siggurdson?
Yes
Is Eriksen really better than Siggurdson?
The price is escalating with each tweet
Teams have shown that playing multiple "natural #10s" in a 3 behind the striker can work. I'd argue Holtby even did it with Draxler at Schalke.
Lloris (26)
Walker (23) Chiriches (23) Vertonghen (26) Rose (23)
Capoue (25) Paulinho (25)
Lamela (21) Eriksen (21) Chadli (23)
Soldado (28)
If Soldado is still as good as he is now, imagine that team in a couple of years...
Lufti, my Teutonic friend, I don't think that's being naive at all. I have high hopes for young Lewis this season and I think we could see a rather energetic, skillful and explosive attack with those 3 behind Soldado. Lots of options for AVB this year, it's looking very bright indeed!
Add Sandro in there! And Townsend could be class in 2 years too. So much young talent.
For the role in the team we need, yes. Also allows us to get Carroll a loan and watch him grow, much like Walker, Andros, etc did.Is Eriksen really better than Siggurdson?
Where has the Eriksen noise come from?
Why is everyone so confident? I don't recall seeing any ITK or articles suggesting this is anywhere near done?

We are going to be playing a lot of games and I think that he and Holtby would be interchangeable. We haven't seen the best of Lewis yet.Teams have shown that playing multiple "natural #10s" in a 3 behind the striker can work. I'd argue Holtby even did it with Draxler at Schalke.

Certain games at home why not. Hell, Verts even pushing up to be the 2nd holding CM alongside etc. Squeeze the hell of them sitting deep, suffocate them.I'm kinda hoping, perhaps naively, that they'll both be in the team - Holtby, Eriksen and Lamela behind Soldado. Then some combination of the beasts behind them
It's scary to think that Holtby started in front of Draxler at Schalke for a while, when settled Holtby could be absolute class.Teams have shown that playing multiple "natural #10s" in a 3 behind the striker can work. I'd argue Holtby even did it with Draxler at Schalke.

Yes I think AVB has a plan a, b & c just like in his transfer targets. I believe he learnt a lot from last seasonFingers crossed!
