It'll be interesting to see where we both are in the table when we play on NYD. Could be a massive fucking game.

Liverpool are raving about 'the SAS' - Sturridge and Suarez.

United are still trying to come up with a name for Wellbeck, Anderson, Nani, Kagawa, Evra, Rooney and Smalling.......

It really warms the cockles of my heart to see Man Ure down in the lower section of the league after some 15 games or so.
For years they've rubbed most of us up the wrong way with Fergie time, ref favouritism, over the top media hype and worse still, their constant assault on the best of young British talent over the last 30 years or so.
I sincerely look forward to them staying down in the doldrums for the next decade or hopefully even longer.

I don't think Moyes is to blame, I think it's Sir Alex as he left a lot of overage / past it players.

Evra, Giggs, Rio are all well past their best and need replacing.

Vidic possibly.

Jones and Greening need to be given the opportunity.

They need a new left back, they've been crying out for decent central midfielders for years (although Carrick is pectly capably if played correctly) and a new left winger.

Nani and Young aren't really good enough compared to wingers they've had and Valencia is playing for this future.

Moyes needs to be strong and have a clear out.

If Van Pervy wants out let him as long as they can get Rooney on a long-term deal his partnership with Wellbeck has always impressed me and Hernandez deserves more chances.

Van Pervy money can be re-invested.

I'm really starting to wonder if he'll still be in the job at the end of the season. Their form in 2014 is awful.

They simply won't sack him. He's way out of his depth. You could see his reaction to their second goal the relief he felt. Mata was a buy for the fans to prove something. Brilliant player but they didn't need that type of player. I think they'll pay whatever it takes for a Klopp to take over.

Moyes is a good manager. United is an aging squad that overachieved last year. Other than their strikers, who do they have that could slide easily into a top team? Maybe Rafeal, and I dont know about Vidic since I havent watched them this year.

No point sacking him until the summer as January has now passed and so any new manager would have to wait to buy.

However a new manager would face the same problem and that's the need to buy 4 defenders and about 3 midfielders and that's without Rooney deciding if he wants to leave or not.

Starting to think Fergie is loving this.

Maybe he recommended Moyes because he knew he'd be shit and it just illuminates the Ferguson legacy even more...

He's probably at home knocking one out on the bog with red café on the go lol

I was thinking the exact opposite earlier. All those achievements and his parting gift to the United fans is the recommendation of a catastrophic turkey of a manager (well...at least that's how their fans might see it).

I still feel a bit sorry for Moyes. United might have won the league last season, but it was really the last hurrah of Fergie, Scholes, and to all intents and purposes Giggs that did it. They didn't play all that well last season, but had in-form players like Van Rapesie to bail them out.

Moyes has been left with a soft squad. People only have to look at Tom Cleverley to see that. United need a complete overhaul, and Moyes isn't a miracle worker.

I'd be surprised if Moyes is sacked any time soon. They'll let him have the summer to bring in new players (fully expecting a bid for Verts), and give him a second season to get them firing again.

If they bid £40mill they can have him!

I think going back to the days where we're willing to sell our best players to other English clubs would end up costing us a lot more than we'd gain on that deal. After Carrick and Berbatov, they can fuck off.
