Moyes - style of play not so great. People say he has not spent money but you look at that squad...its a very good squad! With the quality of player he has there they could play better (I don't think they play ugly football but it's nothing near what we have been playing under Harry).

But I think Moyes plus point is that under him Spurs would NEVER be under-prepared for a game again. Harry is a great man manager but sometimes we start very slow and look like there has been no specific tactics for opponents - ie. Marin at Werder away, Seedorf when we played Milan at home.

Also this problem with set pieces, this would not happen with Moyes.

SO where we would probably now be very consistent and strong against the majority of the league, I do worry about what our tactics would be against the other top 6 sides, Moyes is very negative when Everton play the big teams.

I think Moyes would be a top contender for the Spurs job and I'd be happy for him to get it. What I am weary of is that he does have a better side than many suggest at Everton and the tactics sometimes can be a big negative which must be frustrating.

If it required the entire squad being taught Spanish, then so be it. If Bielsa were to become available for example, you'd be as Loco as his desire and training methods to pass him up.

Nationality is secondary to talent.

If there's a guy free who speaks English and ticks the boxes, even better but no need to plump.

I think that was the theory behind the Ramos deal.

I assume Moyes came up for discussion after he outthought Redknapp in our recent meeting? Anyone can beat Redknapp in the tactics game as Redders clearly doesn't have any other attack, attack, attack.

Yes his tactics were great against us but he got it completely wrong last night when he rested 5 1st team players at Liverpool and they ended up getting stuffed.

With Moyes in charge at Spurs, we would end up with team of over 30s, playing 1 gk, 9 defenders and 1 midfielder up top. He's hardly an attraction for the quality signings we crave ... how many overpaid superstars want to play for a balls breaking manager? Not many.

Getting beaten like by your neighbours is never good, but Evertons only chance of silverware is the FA Cup so you can understand him resting a few players - especially considdeing he's got a dreadful record at Anfield anyway.

I like Moyes, but I don't think his teams are exciting enough to get him a job at any of the top six clubs. Funnily enough I think he'd make a very good International manger. Moyes for England anyone?

Willing to bet you hadn't heard of him before last week.

nope. spain was my team for a long time and i've been watch la liga as long as i've been watching premiere league football. i was a long time admirer of munain, even when he was 17 and i was raving about him when my friends told me bojan was gonna be the next big thing. granted, i was never a true follower of bilbao, but i am a huge fan of spanish football.

i first knew about bielsa when chile absolutely dominated spain in the WC. basically they did what athletico did, but they lost due to a shit goal by spain and a red card. i didnt really bother much about him after that though.

bielsa then went to athletico last year and at first, people were skeptical about his style. but after losing the first few games, they've not lost of a long time. they are like the napoli of spain.

the down side to bilbao is when llorente is not performing, they dont have another bonafide finisher that can finish the game off for them.

i still watch lots of teams other than bilbao, and if you want more suitable candidates, i can definitely name a few more.

as for whether the manager will work for the team or not, i think more comes down to the players. if the players are not willing to get their head down and listen to the manager coaching or drilling style, no way the team can perform. just look at chelsea and you will know. villa boas is a damn good tactical manager, less of a man manager. if chelsea were to actually buy players, and play towards his style, he can definitely turn them into contenders. but players like terry, drogba, lampard, thinks that they are bigger than the team, the manager. with conflicts like this. it will never work
