looks like both of you forget that he was one of the best players for us in his last two appearances which we won.

Are you talking about the same JJ who was made to look silly for Watfords goal and who gave the ball away almost every time he touched it against the Spammers in the first half?

Stop trying to be clever, you know what I meant, if he doesn't have permission it's tapping up, simple really.

Chatting to someone isn't tapping up, tapping up is offering someone a contract while under contract elsewhere...

Well one thing's for sure - with the £ being so low against the euro plenty of UK-based players will be on the radar of the bog spanish and italian clubs.

As for Zoks, he's playing a hell of a lot better now than in the past, but he's never fulfilled the promises when he was signed.

Drenthe was top class tonight for R.Madrid, so i'd gladly see us take him as part of the deal (What a game by the way (El Classico.)) I wouldn't mind Diarra either.

so much idiocy

didi is very much committed to every single minute of every single game and unless anyone can come up with a realisticly achievable player to replace him who ISNT UEFA and Carling Cup tied.

Also his performance at RB today was amazing, when he has featured at CB he has been immense. His not so great passing ability makes me think he should be playing in the back 4.

Arry no idiot, he has been here 2 months or so, and he has figured out how important Zoko is.

BTW was great to see JJ subbed, maybe he wont be so cushty in his place in the side now

if he keeps putting performances in like today Zokora is pretty much invaluable.... I just gotta ask, how does Harry always get the best out of African players when so many other managers struggle to?

Ramos + Phone = Rubbish.

The guy couldn't speak english on the training park, how on earth is he going to communicate with Zokora?

he looked pissed as he came off

good

I think he looked pissed off because he was injured. Just before his number came up, they showed Redknapp on the sideline making gestures like 'can you not carry on'. Presumably it was to JJ.

That said, JJ's going to have to start wrapping bandages round his body so that he's actually visible during matches.

JJ was walking before the board was up, so he knew he was coming off and went straight down the tunnel, like Woodgate.

Zokora did very well yesterday, filled in very well at right back. I think the 4-4-1-1 system suits him as he can press the play all the time without fear of leaving the defence exposed, as opposed to a 4-4-2. Listening to Tim Shwerwood, I think they have tried to impress on DZ what he can and should be doing, and to leave everything else to the others. If he can continue to perform to these levels then we shouldnt sell him. Big if...
