Back in the day - two of my 'exceedingly richer' work colleagues had them. They did nothing but bitch and moan about them - they cost a fortune in garage call outs a loan . The only times I went with them, they drove like milk floats, speed wise in case they broke them.

They looked and sounded great mind.
Oh no! Sounds like the money was better spent on something else!

Reports rife this evening that we are going for Berba, along with Liverpool...

Not sure I believe it to be honest, although we do kinda need something up top, thats pretty clear.
He'd be cheap and premiership ready.

Thanks for the info. Wouldn't mind seeing Berba in a spurs shirt again but the way he left the club won't ever be easily forgotten. That is unless he scores a first ever double hat-trick against the scum. :D

Shanks gets very good info, but can't see AVB and Berba being a match made in heaven, if Benny and Ade are not considered for attitude then Berbs falls into the same bracket. Having said that, I met him on holiday when he was still at Spurs and had a long evening talking to him and he loved the club and thought his partnership with Keane was brilliant. By the way he thought Defoe was brain dead, so perhaps another reason I can't see this happening unless Defoe is moved on.

If Berba is ready to settle and just play football it will be a great signing.

His head got turned last time. It won't happen again.

Tottenham Hotspur consider bid to bring Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov back to the club in January

2:00pm Tuesday 31st December 2013 in Sport

Tottenham are expected to launch a surprise bid for former striker Dimitar Berbatov in the January transfer window.

Berbatov left White Hart Lane for Manchester United at the end of the summer transfer window in 2008 before joining Fulham in August 2012.

The Bulgarian was a fan's favourite during his time at Spurs where he scored 27 goals in 70 league appearances.

Tottenham are targetting short-term transfers and loan deals in January after spending more than £100m in the summer.

The club are also keen to save available funds until the summer when the managerial situation becomes clearer.

Spurs are however keen to bring in a striker especially as Jermain Defoe is expected to leave for MLS side Toronto in March and Berbatov is considered to be a viable option.

The 32-year-old only has six months remaining on his current contract and recently expressed his desire to leave the relegation-threatened Cottagers.

1 year and flog him in the summer.

Love his talent but I've never liked his attitude. Sulky-moaner.

I'd happily pay 3M just to keep him out of The Scum's hands. Obviously would make a quality addition to our squad too.

He still hasn't learned how to cope with adversity. Things go bad at United wants out, get worse at Fulham, out. We're now recovering and don't need distractions, the man's time here has come and gone.
