Nice stop-gap player to have. Yes, he moans and is really lazy but a genius on the ball. Not a bad option to have if Ade is not working in a game and we need something a little different.

He still hasn't learned how to cope with adversity. Things go bad at United wants out, get worse at Fulham, out. We're now recovering and don't need distractions, the man's time here has come and gone.

He rightly got the hump at United. He was there top scorer then was suddenly dropped.

Fulham are wank and don't blame him for wanting out.

Would love him back.

In summary, then;
Tapped up & head turned by Man Utd - went into a strop until he got his move away from WHL.
Leading scorer at Manu, but struggled to get game time - went into a sulk and moved back to London.
Doing OK at Fulham, but team hovering near the relegation zone - moodily appears to be angling for a move.

Is it just me, or is there a pattern emerging here?

If this happens, and we can keep both Berba & Ade fit and motivated, then our team would be transformed.

Both can link the play with their back to goal, and both can score goals.

Also, Berba always relied on his brain & technique rather than pace, so he could have several seasons left in him at the top level.

It could all go horribly wrong. Both Ade & Berba could get injured and/or lose interest and/or sulk.....

But, for the money, Berbatov is a much better option than other targets we've been linked with.

Shane Long, Gomis or Berba?

That's a no brainer.

Imagine the scene. You have a beautiful young wife, you're very happy together. A rich playboy comes along and chats her up, she eventually gives in and runs off with him. Completely fucking you over and leaving you hurt and cheated. They have a wild affair full of parties and wild sex. She gives him the best years of her life but eventually the playboy realises she's starting to age, dumps her and finds another young hot woman to fill her place.

She moves on to the next best thing she can get, some middle aged guy that's doing ok but not really going anywhere. They have a happy few years leading a normal life and settle down. After a while, she gets bored and starts wondering what could have been and ends up taking off in search of you. She's now old, well past her best and completely fucked you over and broke your heart.

What do you do?

Take her back like a mug or tell her to get fucked?

I know which I would choose.

No thanks.

But she was a great bang!

The Telegraph understand Tottenham could re-sign Dimitar Berbatov from Fulham in a £3m deal.

I don't suppose Levy is going to hand Sherwood much cash and with Defoe allegedly going to MLS I think Berbatov would be fantastic. I don't care what happened in the past - when players are finished they get binned unceremoniously. It's a hard-arsed world and this would be a businesslike deal if we could pull it off.

Why? I'd say they're exactly the kind of deals we'd be looking at.

We had the chance 2 season ago to get him for I think 5M? Anyway if he comes, I am good. Just sign a striker Levy
