Do you think Berbs will be fit to play tomorrow? According to what Jol said in the interview, it could be that he will be ready. I was so surprised when I saw that interview.

I've heard elsewhere that he might be fit. Strange how all the rumours about Berbatov leaving are being re-ignited before the United games :think:

Berbatov to remain Tottenham player
SOFIA, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov has confirmed he is staying at the north London club, ending recent speculation about the Bulgarian's future.
"I chose to join Tottenham last season, now I'm staying at the club through my own free will. At least for now," he told Bulgarian Football Weekly on Monday.
The player's agent Emil Danchev revealed on Friday that Premier League champions Manchester United had enquired about the possibility of the Bulgaria captain joining them.
"No one said that United didn't have interest in me and my price in general but it has to be clear that there will not be a move for now."
The 26-year-old marksman joined Tottenham from German side Bayer Leverkusen for 16 million euros in May 2006 and scored 12 league goals last season.
"There has been a lot of speculation but all I can say now is that this saga has strengthened (Tottenham manger Martin) Jol's position and that the club's board decided to raise my salary."

Interesting that the club raised his salary without being able to extend his contract
