Speaking of Sunderland, I did hear the rumours that Alex Neil was going to get out of his contract and move to Stoke - which did, indeed, happen. What I didn't know is that it happened on the same day as Sunderland agreed a deal to begin a third series of Sunderland Til I Die. What timing! The first two series were amazing, and I hope the series aims for the same feel and depth in the current one.

There must be some mess behind the scenes at management level, as the fans and players all loved what Neil did in getting them promoted to League One. One bright note is that they have signed Jewison Bennette, a really exciting young Costa Rican winger. I've watched him a few times, and he's really impressed. One to keep an eye on!
Wasn't he only on a rolling one-year contract though? Can't blame him for leaving for a club offering better job and financial security,

He was. But you don't leave a few weeks into a new season if there aren't problems at your current position. No doubting, though, that Stoke offered better money.

Preston have just scored their 4th goal of the season in their 12th game. Luckily for them, they've only conceded 4 too.

I haven't been paying attention to the Championship but that league is totally drunk this year. No team over 2 PPG, only 15 points between top and bottom. Ridiculous.

As @Marty says, the Championship must have some kind of bug in the system. Currently top is a team who have lost 7 of their 16 games (only 2 teams in the division have lost more), and in second is a team who have only won 6 of their 14.

And that's why the Championship is more interesting than the Premier League. We all know Man City's winning the PL but none of us can predict with any degree of confidence who'll win the Championship. If Spurs weren't in the PL I'd probably watch more lower-league football than top-flight.

Is anyone watching the last game.

Millwall 3-1 up. Blackburn drag it back k to 3-3, which drops them out of the playoffs.

Dont want those thugs in the Prem. To many dickheads in their fan base. Chelsea light.
Yep. Anyone but Millwall. I was there when we played them in the FA Cup in 2016. I've never seen such disgraceful behaviour.

One from Luton, Sunderland, Or Coventry for me.

Sunderland and Coventry fans have had a terrible time of late, it would be a great story 👍
