They have been atrocious at the back tonight. Major mistakes and lazy passing have led to this.

Why the hell he started tonight I will never know. I know his record is fantastic internationally, but he's not been on his game this time out. Same with Gomez. I really, really think Klose should have started like last time.

So this is the tactical genius? Rather than going with the team that finally showed some flair against Greece (who allowed the least amount of chances in the group stages), he reverts to the team that was pedestrian in the group stages with Podolski, Gomez, Kroos and Ozil rather than Ozil, Schueller, Reus and Klose. He has lost this match for them
