Breaks my heart to see Dawson look that upset

He's only been there a short while but you fucking know he is hurting more than anyone else.

Considering how average the squad is and how crap we've played for a lot of the season, finishing 5th and above Liverpool (and Southampton) represents a very good season. Not to mention a cup final and more youth in the side. Very pleased.

Now we need to invest wisely.

I don't think he's that much of a dickhead.

Is he?
He doesn't really know who we will sell even those he wants to offload. He's probably thinking "I better treat them well because I might have to manage them again next season"

Or perhaps he's tried him there in training or seen something in the player to make him think he can do it and it isn't really 'lucky' at all……..

Which puts this piece of 'expertise' firmly in its place

Or maybe we'd have done even better against a poor Everton with Bentaleb in midfield and the development left back who we've spent years training to be a left back playing at left back.

Bentaleb did a very solid job, but he didn't get past their full back once. Neither did Dier.

That is also part of their remit (development integration) and one of the reasons we hired Pochettino according to the Spurs web site.

Remember the time when he thought we had got CL football. He was almost crying :(

Great fans at Hull. Hull were excellent today but just couldn't score. The wrong team stayed up.

There has been some doom and gloom and a lot of nonsense spouted at points this season..

And while it hasn't been perfect, I'm going to say well done to Poch for this season. 5th place, cup final, fantastic victories over our closest rivals, the improvement of our young players, the ability to not sound like a wanker when interviewed...

Now lets kick on.

Well that was a pretty impressive performance.

Still some frustrating moments (mainly from Chadli and Kane) but very good games from Mason, Vertonghen and Bentaleb, and some great crossing from Dier, still a bit slow to react to defensive situations at fullback though.

Now we can sleep easy in our bed knowing Spurs won't keep us awake at nights for another few months...

And as for Liverpool "We go again!! :woot::cautious::("

:p

Captain Hindsight.

Give it a rest A&C just for a minute or two.

Yeah. It's that simple. Christ.

Excellent win today, and 5th above Liverpool is above expectations in Poch's first season.

Positivity (not negativity seemingly for the sake of it) is the way forward. Onwards and upwards.
