Brady summed it up well, the Irish were putting it about in the first half, Wales came out and Williams, Ramsey, Bale and Taylor were pretty brutal.

Dunphy waffling on now ffs

Warning. This is brutal :(

Terrible but the fact it's the middle of his leg and not at a joint means could have been worse

That is just so terrible. Horrible challenge by Taylor (dude's such a shitty player) and with how horrible his leg looks, it could be a potential career ender.

Double leg break apparently, poor chap.

Bale's tackle was also disgusting, should be retrospective action for tackles like that, no place for it.

I was half joking earlier in the thread regarding Ramsey's going in over zealous, it was just the start.

Bale was kinda entitled to go for the connection but studs up - no way

Time to starting banning players for the length of time the player is out they injured.

Even when they're honest accidents? 50/50's that are a millisecond late? (not referring to this one just in general)

Surely the sensible thing to do, if you want to completely eradicate broken legs, would be to ban any form of slide tackling. Players must stay on their feet at all times.

Gutted after tonight but to ban slide tackles when some of the best and most watchable defending is a perfectly timed slide tackle. A tackle like that is a straight red and so bad that it deserves a lengthened ban.

Ray Wilkins would get behind that.

Worth noting that it was Taylor that nearly took Kyle Walkers head off at the lane earlier this season. Quite how he got away without even a yellow card for that was unbelievable.

Yeah, it was poorly timed and he probably deserves a 6-8 game ban but it was an accident at the end of the day and it's a contact sport so.....

Also, wasn't Colemans leg in mid air at impact so the force of the break came from him kicking through Taylor's leg wasn't it?
