I weren't sold until his mum swore on her life.

Hahaha, after I read it again it did make me chuckle, but there were rumours about Bale looking to buy a house near Enfield before this (think it was ITK) so it does kinda back that up.

Gareth Bale has told Sky Sports that he is only thinking about helping Tottenham back into the Champions League next season.
The Welsh winger has been tracked by Spanish giants Real Madrid for much of the summer but they have not made an official approach.
Despite his multi-award winning season last time, he is talking about helping Tottenham to improve and make it into the top four next time. And, on a personal note, he thinks he can get even better.
"I am hoping to improve from last season. Every season I want to keep improving and keep becoming a better player, I have more experience now," Bale told Sky Sports News.

Gareth Bale, who turns 24 next Tuesday, is the undisguised dream of Florentino Perez, Zidane and Ancelotti himself to finish the project that will handle the seductive Italian coach from next day 15 (the day will begin training in Valdebebas) . According to what AS, after the signings of Isco, Carvajal and Casemiro, of the imminent arrival of Illarramendi, plus the promotion to the first team of Jesse (scorer of the FIFA U-20) and the ratification of Morata (European Golden Boot Sub-21), the club looks in hiring Bale Luxury icing first post-Mourinho Madrid. Already pulled strings closer to that dream.

In case you still have doubts, this newspaper has had access to a test carried out last week at one of the offices on the main floor of the Bernabeu (see photo above on page 3). The directors of the company commissioned a shirt with the number 11 on his back and Bale name above. Of course, the shirt belongs to the new kit for next season, with orange trim on the sides, neck and armpits. The number 11 is also the dorsal Bale at Tottenham and even the selection of Wales. This explains the sensitivity and the hierarchy that Florentino and his advisers want to give the best player in the latest edition of the Premier if it finally becomes possible handover.

"If there comes a world-class player of Bale is normal to give you the dorsal who always wore and, moreover, is the one you like" say from the club.

More signals. A Carvajal gave the race number 15 vacated by Essien, Isco and 23 that had been vacant since last summer. But 11 released by Carvalho had no owner and the Madrid Bale dream it your next tenant.

What is clear is that knowing the history of Florentino, will fight until August 31 to make sense into Daniel Levy, chairman of Tottenham. The first contacts between them were as fruitless as disappointing. We have talked about figures who have gone from 100 ... 150 million euros! But Florentino has a master with presidents like Agnelli and Moratti, and Ferguson himself, which he raised to Zidane, Ronaldo and Beckham despite initially claimed the three were "transferable".

To zoom positions, the white president, along with Jose Angel Sanchez, plans to accompany the team on the 21 to England. That day, the Madrid of Ancelotti played there his first pre-season friendly against Bournemouth, newly promoted to the second division of the country. The intention is to make the stay there to see some emissary of the spurs. What is certain is that Madrid did not intend to pay 100 million euros for Bale. Nor is discarded players entering to lower the price.

All i got out of that is that Bale has a dorsel fin and clearly Levy has told them to pay 100mill or fuck-off.

For those of you can't be bothered to read it, in summary, a large group of Real Madrid fans during the unveiling of Asier Illarremendi chanted 'we want Bale' (in Spanish). Just shows how spoiled the fans of that club have become and their club really does simply rely on signing the best talent from around the world. Maybe next they'll sign a petition.

Cant stand that Club, tapping up any player they want with all their millions while the rest of the teams in their league are dying a slow death due to unfair TV payments, and their fans are just a reflection of their Club, spoiled greedy Bastards.

I see Moyes and their new guy who has replaced Gill have been quoted as saying that have an unlimited budget. Weird to say that in terms of their negotiating position but it hasn't stopped the press putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 in terms of linking Bale again.

There isn't one Club I would hate more than United to get Bale.

But immune to all this bollox now and if United do try anything I hope we quote them something insane like 120 million.

Most clubs wont spend anywhere near £34m in total this transfer window either, to chant such a thing as a new signing is unveiled shows incredulous disrespect, they are fast becoming a much disliked club..

The whole Modric saga with Chelsea has really made me quite confident that we won't be selling a star to another english team - especially one Levy loathes as a result of the Berba deal. I'd be stunned if he went to Man United.

(What is it with these idiots talking about their massive budgets? First at Arsenal, then Man U. How on earth does that help get them get decent deals done?!)
