Funny that there's no "HE'S LANDED" headlines from the press about his plane touching down in England.

Funny.

The Mickey Thomas article on the BBC website is embarrassing

I put the full article in the media watch thread - this is just one quote from it he makes

"The whispers around Old Trafford are that he's Old Trafford-bound," he said.

The BBC shouldn't print shit like this

Indeed, terrible reporting. First of all, who gives a shit what this guy thinks.. and of course the whispers at OT would say that, the whispers at Anfield say they are signing everyone and every player should want to play for the biggest club in the world.

It's not news, it's idle gossip at best. The Guardian has a similar story today about how Bale will be the first 100m player when he moves.. no.. shit. They should open a detective agency with that level of investigative reporting. It's the same regurgitated crap every day because there is no actual news.

Sky will be on later with their 'MAN GOES TO WORK' breaking news banner.

Hoddle as been saying for weeks now that Bale will stay, and that Real have not got the money.

And he actually talks to the chairman, so what he says is far more reliable than most of the other c*** written made up about Bale in the media.

I'd rather he went to old trafford than Real Madrid.

I hate the fucking Spanish club.

I love this:

"The Welshman had spent the last two days in Marbella, on Spain's south coast, and had planned to travel back to London anyway."

He planned to travel back on Monday, a day before he was revealed to fans?

Wonderful reporting, that.

The only way I would be OK with him going to Utd would be if we were getting Rooney and plenty of cash. There is no way we should be selling one of the World's best players to a rival without getting one in return.

Bale can't go to united, I hate them more than most, hated ferguson, hate moyes, really would detest the sight of bale at united, coming back to the lane and destroying us. Would much rather he went to Madrid and went for stupid money

True but it would be nice to see Moyes get reliant on Bale like we did. One injury and they are fooked.

I'm sure Levy agrees. But he's not going to tell RM that. He's just going to tell them 'United are offering more. What are you going to do?' (If true!)

They wouldn't get reliant on him though. He would provide a bunch of assists for Van Persie, score even more goals as Rooney's movement would make Bale utterly devastating as he would have more space and they would just pull away from the rest.

If we really want to win the league in the next few years then selling Bale to Utd would be stupid.

If it wasn't such a sensitive issue I'd agree. But Levy isn't stupid and he wouldn't allow it to leak into the press that Bale's leaving, if that were the case(still a fairly big "if").

Hoddle is towing the party line whether he realises it or not. Levy would only tell him what what he wants to come out in the media and that gives us no indication about whether its true.

Back to waiting it is then ...

We cannot sell to Utd and also really starting to dislike Moyes, moaning about fixtures which weren't even as tough as our ones in the last few seasons and then tapping up the Everton two.

He's become even more unlikable than before

Sandro messaged me back yesterday when I asked if he could have a word with Bale about staying. He said "it's difficult. Bale is done"

We need to delay this move as long as possible to stop the scum getting Madrid players. So I can now see this go to deadline day.

I'm hoping Levy really wants a crack at the title so cash in the bank is no good for that. Ozil, Coentrao and 45m is though
