High tempers after the Chelski game

Afternoon all

Now this is in no way me trying to be an itk as I have absolutely no connection to anybody in THFC but I have heard that was some quite high tempers in the dressing room after the game against the chavs on Saturday.

This info has come from a girl at work who's husband is a spurs fan and a moderator on another spurs site. Apparently he was talking to another monitor (hope your keeping up!!) who works at the training ground.

Apparently there was some angry exchanges and squaring up in the dressing room due to Tim's post match interview. Now I'm a realist and expect, or rather hope that nobody was holding hands singing songs or doing the hokey kokey after that performance so it might (if indeed anything happened) be nothing.

Like I said this is no itk just stuff I've taken with a pinch of salt but was really just wandering if anybody else had heard anything??

My mate (an Arsenal fan) played mini golf with Andros Townsend and his missus (randomly met in the queue got talking and they decided to play together) on Sunday who appeared to be in great spirit but didn't want to talk too much about football and especially Spurs, could be true about a rift then.

I've heard Dawson was laying in to a few who didn't like it, and Tim took Dawson's side, that's why he was so angry in the interview.

Maybe Defoe was the key reason everyone liked each other.. He is now the missing piece

That wouldn't surprise me one bit. Ironic how a player who pretty much gets roundly schlagged on here showing that he's actually one of those who cares most. He might not be the best defender around ability wise but sometimes other qualities are just as important and he deserves a bit more respect than comments like 'fuck off out of my club' etc etc

With the best will in the world I'd say it was more of a case of Townsend behaving properly and not discussing confidential work matters with a stranger he'd just met rather than necessarily having anything in particular to keep schtum about. At however many thousand pounds a week AT's on the very least the club can expect from him is a little discretion.

Oooooooooh, rumours of a bit of 'passion'? That sounds promising.

Most likely everyone just put their headphones on and skulked out of the stadium, while Tim and Michael snapped as many pencils as they could find.

To be fair who does want to talk about Tottenham at the moment

I didn't want to go into too much detail but I heard that Dawson was the main person involved.

It certainly won't hurt for them to think about some of the wallopings we've taken this season if it gives them more encouragement to improve their games but I don't want them to lose or ruin whatever team spirit still exists.

Yeah but long balls and no leadership skills and selling himself on the halfway line blah blah the usual bloody bollocks.

Player's reactions after defeats.

West Ham 3-0. They played 6 in midfield and just parked the bus
Man City 6-1. Worst day of my life but Man City has done it to everyone else so....
Liverpool 5-0. The manager is to blame.
Man City 5-1. Luck and ref was against us.

So if this rumour is true all have to say about it is....

ABOUT F@CKING TIME!!!!!

Very well said sir. At the moment, i'd rather have 11 players with Dawson's attitude and ability, than 11 highly talented sulkers.

Perhaps the club should start doing a little more homework around a players 'personality' before agreeing to a signing. I'd want players who were men and respond to adversity, not those that want away at the first sight of not getting what they want (CL) or seemingly give up. Boy the CL has a lot to answer for.

Anyway, I should hope that there was a little set to at the end of the match. I'd be even more worried if there wasn't.
