Whilst on the train home this evening i met a young boy & his dad travelling home after watching what was the young boys first Tottenham game at White Hart Lane. A nice one to remember, 5-0 to the Spurs , 4 Goals for Robbie Keane - now that doesnt happen too often , a game to remember !!!

How did your first Tottenham game go at WHL ?? Mine was a 1-0 victory against Coventry back in 1986 with Clive Allen grabbing the goal ! I was in the Paxton Rd end that day just like i was today for the first time in years.

Draw, but it felt like a win. Was against Utd, December 1998(might have 99). We were 2-0 down at half-time, but Judas scored twice, one late on, to snatch a draw. I was in the Park Lane end and the whole stand was shouting "You're not singing any more" to the Utd crowd. Good times :)

I took my 10yr old daughter today to only her 3rd game ever. Her first was last season, pre season v Roma and her second was home to Hull last year.

So in 3 games she has seen 2 Home wins and 10 goals for Spurs! Might take her v the scum!!

Draw. It was against Ipswich at home in the 93-94 season. Ended 1-1.

I don't really remember anything about the game apart from it was definitely Ipswich (had the programme kicking about a while ago) and it was the season before Klinsmann arrived. Had to look up the result on TopSpurs.

It meant the world to me at the time but memories always fade eventually :(

Win - it was 2 - 0 v Man Shitty - Chivers and Gilzean scored. It was love at first sight. (With Spurs - not with either Mr Chivers or Mr Gilzean, who I am sure are delightful men but not my cup of tea in the romance stakes!)

Win over Leeds at the beginning of the 78-79 season. Vivid memories of the tickertape/toilet-roll 'snowstorm' that welcomed Ossie, Ricky and the team onto the pitch - from that moment I was hooked!

1995 I think, or it might have been 1996.

2-1 against Sunderland in the coca-cola/milk/worthington/carling cup (whatever it was back then)

The first game I can honestly say I remember, I was 9 and it was Gerry Francis first match in charge, and the type of game that, if anyone here can remember, typified Spurs at that time and for the next 15 years.

However, before then I had been to around 50 already according to my dad, starting around the 86/87 season when I was not yet 2 years old because he wanted me to witness our double winning campaign.

So I've voted defeat as I can't remember before that game in Novermber 94 v Villa.

For what it's worth, the first game with my season ticket, v Manchester Utd on the opening day of the 97/98 season, also ended in defeat (Sheringham missed a penalty for them on his debut haha).

A 2-1 win against Middlesbrough, a Sheringham penalty and Ferdinand if I remember rightly. Wasn't exactly a classic game, but it was a win, so it didn't matter too much.

Lost 2-0 to Liverpool, late 90's I think. It was a midweek game I think, and I was sick that night as well. And I was so small I had to watch the game on the big screen cos there was a a tall person sitting in front of me. I did get my name on the screen though. Still have the picture of it somewhere.

Chelski at home. Mikael Goldbaek got both of theirs, but Iversen and Ginola (a cracker) got two equalisers for us.

I sat in the Park Lane lower, just to the left and right behind the goal.

Met loads of the players after the game, still got my pictures with Ian Walker, judas and Tim Sherwood.

Win. We beat Oldham 4-1 in either 93 or 94. Sat front row of the east upper and all I wanted to do was go down to the paxton where they were all singing(times change dont they!)

Spurs 1-2 Wimbledon, 94/95 season. :-(

Rubbish game with Klinsmann scoring for us.
