Againt Man City in 1995. The game was supposed to be in January but was postponed and rescheduled for april. we won 2-1. Howells and Teddy. Loved it. Was sitting in the shelf.
My first game at WHL was a 1-1 draw against Charlton Athletic in Feb 1989, but my first ever Spurs game was the 87 cup final loss. Flew home from Gibraltar to watch that
1st season of the prem. September 1992/1993. Tottenham v Manchester United. A wonder goal from Ryan Giggs, our equaliser from Gordon Durie. Final score 1-1.
94/95 ish i think but I could be dead wrong.
My dad took me to see spurs vs leeds. It finished 1-1 with deane opening the scoring for leeds with a volley and either anderton or howells I think scoring the equaliser.
Someone got stretchered off but I cannot remember who.
We beat Wolves 4-3 in front of 52,000 at WHL in Sept' 1963. My only disappointment was that despite Spurs scoring 4 my all time hero, Jimmy Greaves, didn't get on the scoresheet on that particular occasion.
FA cup vs Barnsley about 1999-2000 time.
We drew 1-1. Judas scored and the announcer incorrectly said
it was Ferdinand. I think it was Clive Wilson who gave away a penalty
for their goal.
There was a right ruckus after the game and I got jumped at by a police dog even though I was about 12.
We got battered 3-0 in the replay, I remember checking on teletext whch was my
number 1 source of info back then.
Still got the ticket and match day programme in the loft.
I am not sure Colin Calderwood got sent off, but we did win 2-0- one of Graham's first games. I think Iversen got both, one a fuck up by Given who did make an outstanding save from Ginola. It was pouring down I think. 11 years on, how the fuck do I remember these things?
