Hmm as much as I love our youth players breaking through, how much of Pritchard have you seen in the 1st team? Sure Mason and Bentaleb have made it, but I don't see them actually taking us to the next level most of us aspire too. Pritchard is an unknown at this level, like Mason and Bentaleb or like Chadli and Lamela were. It's all a gamble, and not always likely to pay off.

A lot and he will not disgrace us people thought I was crazy when I said mason is good enough. I am not saying sell Lamela or Chadhli just saying if a good offer came in we should think about it, there are 8 players I would sell first.

None of our youth team have let us down unlike our transfer policy, people siroulsy under estimate how good our accademy is it's light years a head of Man U, liverpools, arsenals, we have out performed Southampton this season.

I don't think he has made one appearance for us in the 1st team yet!?

Eriksen 100%, he's a match winner. Chadli, despite his recent lack of form, has been very important for us this season and deserves to stay.

Despite how much I love Lamela, and how I've supported him, I was very much on the fence about whether we should keep him for next year. He's just not quite delivering the goods and I'm not sure if he ever will for us. I'd not look to actively offload him but if a great offer came in then I'd think about it.

Pritchard has for 5 min I don't think he has had a touch though lol, the kid is ripping it up in the championship, he was part of our next gen team who hammered barca, and Milan he was the best player on the park against Liverpool in the next gen. The kid is very good I think with better players around him he will be even better.

I would definitely keep Eriksen, Chadli and Vlad.

I am undecided on Lamela as the boy has talent but he seems to struggle to show it more then not.

Eriksen is definitely a keep. Chadli is more effective than many of our current options so he stays too for me.

Lamela looks absolutely determined to make it. Maybe it's just hope but I want him to stay another season. Chiriches is up to him really. Happy to keep helping him develop but wouldn't be bothered about him leaving.

Soldado just isn't going to work out. HIs confidence is shot. He needs a new start elsewhere, like the guy though.

Paulinho just isn't good enough. Capoue showed promise at the beginning but guessing he's off.

All hands agree who has worked and who hasnt. It's obvious.
Thats not the important question.
The question should be how best to recoup our losses on the failures. You sound as if you have a choice when reality it's very difficult to sell. First there's the fees. And even if you are willing to not get a fee you still need someone willing to pay the wages. A player isn't going to leave if they get a lower offer, case in point is Ade. That is why flops will just continue to stay in our backyard.

Good point.

The teams that are reported to be linked with Paulinho, Chiriches and Soldado means they should be sold relatively easily.

I get the feeling Capoue isn't on a specially high wage and is well respected in France so hopefully we can find a buyer without too much trouble.

Soldado as he doesn't get the service and we play better with him in the team:sneaky:

I voted for Erikson and Chadli only. thought about vlad but we already have enough cover at RB. Rest have to go ASAP for their sake and ours

You're right he was instrumental to our best performances like the wins over Chelsea and Arsenal this season

Clearly in Ade's case we either have to loan him out which will include subsidising his wages, negotiate a lump sum buy out of his contract or keep him and hope things improve. The last of those 3 options is the worst.
As I said earlier in this thread we will have to take hits on the transfer fees of all of the 5 players who haven't worked out . I don't believe we are a club paying sky high salaries ( other than to Ade ) so that shouldn't be too much of an obstacle. But then nobody really knows the answer to that.

I would sell.

Paulinho-not suited or quick eno
Soldado- not suited to PL
Adebayor-to much off field problems
Capoue-to slow
Chiriches -I like him but I can't see him being given a good chance

Vertonghen -overrated, if a good offer comes in tbh I feel he is a main defensive problem..I can not think of anything he is defensively good at apart from being left footed.

Lennon- time up
