I would (and i love your passion) take what you read in there with a humongous pinch of salt. You'd perhaps be as well informed by reading these for an insight into what's happening at the club:

I'll take a crack:

The fool will not play until the next full moon, while his mum, the queen of wands places a hex on his career. Meanwhile the sun shines brightly on us, as we lineup in a 4-3-2-1 formation in the next Cup match.

I can't bear to watch our players behave like this. It's bad enough that we are rubbish, without having to put up with Vertonghen's dying swan act. Spurs are embarrassing at the moment in both our conduct and our general play.
Either Vertonghen was blameless or was very clever. Either way I'm happy. We are just fighting back against all the nonsense that goes on and getting some decisions go our way for a change. Unless it starts to go too far (Tomkins, I'm looking at you), I'm good with it.

Thought Id give it a day before posting so could calm down a bit lol.
First thing is, got to give Poch credit for trying to shake things up. It at least shows he's not happy, realises it isnt working and is trying to do something about it.
Ok, it's obvious we are very very low on confidence with some, mainly defenders, being in a state of total panic when we're under attack.
Fazio looked all over the shop but we need to remember this was a new back 4, which showed as even Lloris was making a few errors and they're low on confidence.
Vlad looked ok going forward against 10 men but still gave the ball away cheaply and looked an accident waiting to happen.
While I like the idea of 2 up front we need a Palacious Davids Parker Sandro type player in midfield, a voice, a leader and we simply haven't got one. This imo is our biggest problem and there's nothing Poch can do about it till the window opens. Actually its 2 problems because we need a dm and a voice and we have neither (because we f in sold them all but anyway).
I thoughten Lennon made hell of a difference when he was rw. It stretched Hull. They had to double up on him and it created space elsewhere. We are too narrow without him at the moment. That may change when Walker comes back but right now we look better with him.
Then he changed position. Waste of time. Play him rw or don't play him. He offers nothing elsewhere.
Lamela. I'm sorry but as Townsend says, not for me. This is the PL and we cannot afford to carry someone who keeps giving the ball away. I dont care how much he cost or how good he may one day be. We need 11 on the pitch now. Thats my opinion. If you disagree then good for you.
Soldado needs time and I think he looks much better, happier and more of a threat playing with Kane. I just hope Poch gives him a run until New Year and if he's not banging them In by then we'll have to throw the towel in.
Mason was my mom purely because he does very few mistakes but still takes us forward, quickly.
Erikson played well eventually but he also looked nervous and gave the ball away needlessly early on.
Also good to see the celebration for the winner. The relief on the teams faces just shows they do care and they are feeling it. Erikson even said in post match int 'I'll sleep well tonight.'
Finally, oi Brucie, care to mention the Livermore tackle where he should have walked? No. F in thought not. Well shut the f up then.
I just hope we picked up some confidence from that and that we get behind the team this weekend because these guys really need it. If you're going this weekend PLEASE try and hold the groans until full time. I made a point of doing that during this game (in my front rm lol) and felt better for it. Told myself ok we're one down but long way to go yet.
COYS. LIFT THE ROOF OFF.

Something grated me a little.

There was a handball from the Hull defender at about 30 seconds into the game, last defender handballed it back to the keeper.

It was completely ignored in the ground, commentry and there were only 3 comments made at the beginning of this thread.

Shocking to be honest, almost seemed like it was ignored because it was the beginning of the game - havent replayed it back, but last man, can't recall if it was a goalscoring opportunity though.

Meh, anyway, thought I'd get that off my chest.

Without watching it back I think only one of our payers (Eriksen maybe?) turned to the referee, which suggested to me there wasn't much in it. Wouldn't mind seeing it again though.

For me, it was about as blatant as a handball you could get :)

Forgot to mention. I may be wrong but I think thats the first time in forever (my 6yr old has kindly lodged that f kin Frozen soundtrack in my head :( ) that we've had a shed load (see what I did there) of shots on goal. Long may it continue. If you don't shoot you don't score.
Please no replies stating the f in obvious ie they need to be quality not quantity. Yes they do but if you're only taking 1shot on target you'll probably lose.

Arsenal managed to lose 2-1 to a team who only had 1 shot on target this weekend

Not sure Man Us approach to that game is a very good model to use as a way to win games.
Edit. Sure we did same thing at whl not long ago. Scored og and lost. No other shots. Cant remember who it was.
