TBF, Davies has also said he's willing to wait for his chance (which, it seems, he's now getting) and wasn't too bothered....

And you think that's how he REALLY feels? Why keep talking to the media to so that everytime? Plus it's only the last couple of media releases from Davies where he's said he's happy to wait, before that he was saying he wanted to start in the PL about 4 or 5 times. He needs to prove himself when he does play rather than go to the media.

Not Sunday again!! ffs! even when we have no euro tie .. we still have a Sunday fixture! .. I hate us playing dogged teams like Hull on a Sunday.. we are rarely up for it ..I think it's the psychological edge it gives our rival teams! I hope I'm wrong but I fear another lacklustre performance . .. c'mon spurs get it together!

I think he has potential and I do think he's a decent player but with him going off to the media it just seems he expected to just walk into our starting eleven and not fight for his place.

Well, my theory about Eric Dier is completely blown out of the water.
"It was Eric's own decision to speak with Gareth (Southgate). He never consulted with us." MoPo also says Eric has to improve and get used to playing out of position if he wants to be in the 1st team. MoPo is happy with Kaboul.
Do I not like that.

Also Chadli is an injury doubt.

Would like to see two up top and, with Chadli out, would like to see a 4-4-2 diamond. Stambouli sitting, Mason and Eriksen linking with Lamela as the top point of the diamond.

Requires Davies and Naughton being proper wing backs, allowing Stambouli to drop into the back line making 3 at the back. Would play Verts (who can slot in at LB) and Kaboul (who can slot in at RB).

Would like a fairly defensive starting line-up for this one, with more attacking intent introduced during the second half

Even though I'd love us to play 100% attacking football every game, playing away in the Premiership is always tough and if we concede early, it'll be a massive struggle to get a result

Gutting if Chadli is out. One of very few that can actually pop up with a goal.

I'd do anything for a win tomorrow. We've had a fucking shocking start to the season - to be level on points with Arsenal despite this would be a minor comfort, at least.

If Pochettino thinks Dier has a future at RB and he's happy with Kaboul, we need to be worried.

This. We are all over the shop at the back ATM. We have to shore things up in midfield to give the defence some protection and make us hard to play against. Would play ade up top with Kane behind then 2 banks of 4 and hit hull on the break. Not the most adventurous game plan against the mighty hull but I think it's the way we should go until we get some confidents back

Looks like we will see Davies starting:

"Danny Rose has failed to recover from a rib injury in time for their match against Hull City and it means Davies will come into the team, according to a report in the London Evening Standard.

Davies will now be looking to nail down his place and prove to boss Mauricio Pochettino that he deserves to be the Argentine's first-choice left-back.

Rose has shown glimpses of ability during the campaign so far but looks vulnerable defensively and there is certainly room for improvement in that position."

Really hoping to see Stambouli paired with Mason in the mid as well, but we'll see what pops up tomorrow...

Pace is vital in the premiership, they said...
Dier on the right, Davies on the left.
