I think we'll play very well for the first 5 minutes, then lose 2-0.

A decent 5 minute spell? Doesn't sound like us.

For what it's worth, I think we'll win by the odd goal. But it'll be scrappy, Hugo will make 3 wonder-saves towards the end, and both teams will have a man sent off.

Will be shocked if we win dont trust the majority of our squad to show some balls and fight for a result. Hopefully they turn a corner today and prove me wrong.

I won't be happy if
A. Poch drops Kane
B. Poch plays Kane on his own

We need Kane with soldado today so we can bring the best out of harry and we need to go positive for once. Pretty much fed up of this inverted wingers bullshit. Get 2 upfront with lamela and Eriksen cutting in from the right and left, stambouli and Mason in midfield

I hope we sit back a bit today, let them have a bit of the ball and hit them on the counter. Especially if we have Dier and Davies at full back, we'd be better off playing deeper and trying to avoid Hull getting in behind us.

Who am I kidding though, we'll play high up the pitch, leave massive gaps in behind our defence, rely on on winning the possession game, pass it sideways sideways sideways and get caught with balls in behind or over whichever painfully slow CB combo we play.

1-1.

To be honest, everyone's talking about just needing a result to boost confidence, but I would much rather see a decent performance, that's what we've been lacking more than anything.

I don't even care if we don't score or create shit loads, I'd just like to see us start to work for each other as a team, look coherent off the ball, look like a group that trains together. It would give me more hope than a flukey win in a shit performance.

Hull

  • The Tigers have only earned one win and eight points from their last 10 league games (W1, D5, L4).
  • Both of Hull's wins this season have come against sides currently below them in the table: Crystal Palace and QPR.
  • Steve Bruce's side have not scored a Premier League goal in 314 minutes since Abel Hernandez's 46th-minute strike in October's 2-2 draw at Arsenal.
  • Prior to this run, Hull had scored in each of their first eight league games.
  • The Tigers have conceded a league-high five goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches; Tottenham (four) are equal-second on that list.
Tottenham

  • Tottenham are enduring their worst start to a Premier League season since the 2008-09 campaign, when they had just nine points from their opening 11 games.
  • However, only one of their five defeats has been in an away fixture (4-1 at Manchester City). They have earned eight points from a possible 15 on their travels.
  • Spurs have conceded a league-high five penalties this season, of which three have been scored.
  • Nacer Chadli has scored six goals in 10 Premier League appearances this season - he scored only once in 24 top-flight games in 2013-14.

Sligtly more optimistic, probably because there has been some time since our last game. And perhaps because other teams have ensured season is still on.

Really hope its a front four of Eriksen, Kane, Lamela and Soldado. If Chadli is out that is.
