If not us, Bournemouth, Hull or City in that order. Arsenal would be great though. So long as we rock up in second. Always awesome to get the coveted second best club in London spot.

*please don't think the Goon bit is serious*

I can't. I remember going to Stamford Bridge when it was like a cabbage patch. They were a crap team in a crap stadium and that's where they belong.

Manchester City belong at Stamford bridge?

Was talking about clubs that buy their success. but since you mention it, Man City belong at the Council allottments formerly known as Maine Road.

Over on the other board I frequent (yeah, I know...) I started the following thread, and I thought I'd post the same thing here and see what happens...

"I've thought long and hard about this and I know I'm going to upset a few by saying how I feel, but if Tottenham don't win the Premiership this season, then the club I'd like to see win it is... Liverpool.

City have won it recently, Chelsea have won it recently, United have won it recently, and there's now way I could ever hope for a scum victory....So if we don't win it, I would choose Liverpool, who are playing fantastic football and who've never won it.

There, I've said it.

So if not us, then who would the rest of you like to see win it"?
Whaaaaa?

Liverpool. Just, no. They may not have won the Prem, but they have been champions of England far too many times. Their fans already think they are a the biggest club in England. If they ever win it, they will be unbearable and the win will sustain them for another 30 years of being European giants...

... Hull it is.

As long as it's not Arsenal or Chelsea i'm indifferent.

We seem to have/find excuses to 'hate' more and more clubs these days, I got 99 problems........

You would like Liverpool to win it. Do you work for Sky? Living through the eighties with Liverpool dominating was hell. I hope that is never repeated. Anybody except Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea. If Spurs cannot win I would like Watford or Bournemouth.

City are the only ones of our contenders I wouldn't be too upset if won it.

Burnley and Bournemouth are literally the only clubs in the PL that seem genuinely nice and I wish only well, except when they play us. Even if the latter does have Wheelchair this season.

Liverpool LoL.

I've only just got over the old "we won it five times"

Let's not allow them to start "we won it one time".

If not us...Sunderland. Payback to Newcastle for last seasons end.

Some of you have a problem with Liverpool. I don't. Maybe because I don't know anyone who supports them and I won't have go into hiding if they ever do win it. A win for Liverpool would mean nothing to me and it would have the added bonus of torturing all those Manc idiots who've been shoving their past successes down our throats for the past 25 years. Now, with Maureen in charge, they're all starting to get some of their own medicine.

Last year, when Leicester won it, the SKY coverage was starting to get on my tits so I stopped watching SKY for a couple of weeks. I have the power of the off button.

The difference with Arsenal wining it is that I live in Islington. Say no more.

I work in Croydon, amongst a load of Chelsea scum fans, and the last time they won it, I felt like taking a two month holiday.

My boss is a City fan. Say no more. He's an unbearable tw*** when they win.

So....if not us (and of course, I'd love to see us win it at least one time before I drop dead) I choose Liverpool.

City for me.

Same as Chelsea you can shut them up by telling them they bought it and they are new fans but wouldnt ever go for Chelsea as they are complete scum.

The last teams i want to win it are
West Ham - Could you imagine their fans.
Arsenal - Because they are Arsenal
Chelsea - Please see above
Liverpool - They seem to think they have some sort of god given right.

So that's a no for Liverpool. Something we can all agree on for a change..

It's City isn't it. they are the only bearable non-Spurs option out there.

One day you will meet one, and look back and laugh at starting this thread.

Between @aliyid and myself, we provided you with reasons why Liverpool winning would be a serious set-back for the club the support and is not dependent on whether you know/don't know or like/hate Liverpool fans. It is on page two, here:

If not us, then who...?
