Who is PLP? Where has he come from? Does he rely on a guide dog?

All to be answered over the coming weeks Batfans.

When they answer said questions will they also find out why you use the word "gay" so much in your posts? :shake::hump:

Lets just look at the stats:

JD: 0000101121120

Anyway surly it boils down to, who would you rather pay your money to watch?

And guess who comes out last again.

JD? Isn't that the chap that has left? - get over it.

So who would you rather watch? I am sure the people that sit around me are delighted that the little shit Defoe has left, since they longer have to put up with my tourettes like swearing everytime we attack. I bet they miss such classics as "Fuck sake Defoe, you useless ****. Why not stay onside once this week".

I've yet to see you justify a viewpoint, other than with one ludicrous made-up 'statistic'. Facts really are a problem for you, aren't they?

In Jol's first full season Anelka was still with Fenerbahce, for example. And our main competitors were Arsenal. It's highly questionable that we did have the fifth-best squad. Newcastle's, for one, was certainly at least as good.

Defoe doesnt seem to always be offside for Pompey though does he?

But don't let anybody tell you we sold the wrong one yeah?

newcastle? Now I know you're having a bubble. We were easily the fifth best team in the league.

With a decent manager that Newcastle squad would have been pressing hard for a UEFA Cup place. We were not 'easily' the fifth-best squad by any stretch of the imagination.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course. The same as everyone else is entitled to find it a complete joke.

God Stoof, your posts are too long and have to many glaring errors to repond too. Its late Sunday night and we all have a long week stretching ahead of us:

Lets just look at the stats:

Keane: 000000110000
JD: 0000101121120
Berb: 10100210010

I know I will be subjected to the usual "but keane does other things" b.s. that rapidly changes to "you cant argue with his goals" when you remind Keano lovers of how limited he is in his all round play.

Anyway surly it boils down to, who would you rather pay your money to watch?

And guess who comes out last again.
I'm pretty sure Berbatov went through a 13 game run from September to November in which he scored just 2 goals. This season, though, he and Keane have scored a similar number of goals from a similar number of games. Both have had periods where they scored a lot, and times when they didn't.

Regarding "who woud you rather pay your money to watch?", well, at the moment you're more than likely to see both Keane and Berbatov for your money, and taking the season as a whole you are likely to see plenty of goals with at least one of Keane and Berbs on the scoresheet.

As for Defoe, he's scoring a lot for Portsmouth at the moment and thats great for him and them. Would he have scored all of those goals for us? Well he didn't, so it's pretty pointless discussing it.

Or on the other hand Berba could help propel us to the CL and then we could attract top players. Just a thought.

It's a lovely thought, but I'm afraid time has run out for him at 27. He has itchy feet to return to the CL, even though he's very happy at Spurs. If only we'd made it this year, I'm sure he would've stayed.

Latest news from his smelly agent courtesy of the Standart site in Bulgaria:
No Spanish clubs have been in touch, but several others have, he's meeting Levy in a few days.
I won't link directly, as it's not pleasant, the translation is probably a bit harsh, and the "Spurs are a good club but too small for Berba" comments will only antagonize people.

This thread is kind of repetitive and will add nothing more than bitterness and more doubts towards the future.

It speaks very poorly of a club when the whole future of signings and footballing structure depend on the sale/permanency of just one "marquee" player. I'm sure Ramos will prefer a fully functional and even squad rather than the contrasting (some very good, others very bad or inexperienced) bunch of players we've got now.

crouch would be a decent replacement if we got in a good left winger to swing the crosses in. And the media are talking a figure of 6mill. Thats a bargain imo
