What is this Special Skill? Something like what you get in RPG D&D-style games?
I had exactly this argument in the summer, Which is why at the time I highlighted the fact that Defoe's actual goals per minute ratio was better than Bent's. I highlighted this because, I argued and maintain still, is a far better way of assessing strikers as meriting what denotes a chance and even then what does it matter if a striker is making more chances for himself than the other stiker who only waits for great chances to come along. At the end of the day games are limited by time not chances. And Defoe manages more goals per minute.
So the theory only holds good for comparing Bent and Defoe?
But Bent played 2865 mins last season and scored 11 goals (not including pens). Defoe played 1927 mins last season and scored 7 goals (not including pens). That means that Bent scored every 260 minutes and Defoe every 275 mins. The season before that Defoe got it down to 245, whilst Bent was at 208 (again both without penalties).

Where's this seasons ?
Nice try. He scored 8 league goals last season giving him an average of 240 pewr goal compared to Bents 260.
Very difficult to compare Mido & Defoe.
They couldn't be more different.

Special skill might be Zokora's surging runs,

Something special they do better than others and of course you rate it as high or low as you like.
This was my source :

Says Defoe scored 3 pens.
Well my source was the spurs program v manC last year. Which didn't includethe goal he scored against Blackburn which takes his average down to 214. He pissed him.

Well your source is wrong. Defoe scored 10 goals last season, in 1927 mins. 3 of these were penalties, so 1927/7 = 275.
What does that last bit mean?
Er, I think you need to get your abacus out. 10 goals (not the 7 you first claimed) in 1927 makes an average of 192.7.
He pissed it more.
I don't really play those games, in fact I just don't, but I think I know how it works and so perhaps the answers yes?
Special skill might be Zokora's surging runs, Chimbonda's prodigious leaps, Kanoute's velcro chest, Defoe's shift-and-shoot or Lee's mighty throw-ins.
