personally reckon conte being a prick about it will mean hes less accepting of being given players for the childish boardroom games. He seems to want certain players and simply isn't budging by the sounds of it.

He comes across as really grounded and makes an intriguing comment about the need to rotate full backs in Poch's system. We're not buying a development player; I think we're after a quality RB that doesn't diminish our system when we rotate

There are also stories floating around that Conte is "ordering" the club to get Danny Rose. I think a lot of this is just rapid speculation because they have not managed to get their targets, whatever those may be.

Rich clubs sign players late in the transfer window every season. It's quite possible that Chelsea have missed out on a player and moved targets.

I think Chelsea and Conte's strategy is so transparent, they will simply bid for any player we might be remotely interested in, whether they want him or need him, and in doing so they will try to cut off any supply of players in the transfer market, in the hope that we end up with no-one.
