Can't believe we're not trying to snap this kid up!!

He'd want to start every game and with Kane you can't give him the assurances.
That's may be true, but it would be up to Poch to convince him that he would be integral to our squad rotation and, more importantly imo, develop him into a world class striker. The club cannot expect Kane to carry on just churning out top performances week in week out for years without him breaking down, he must be rested regularly. Obviously it would take time for Iheanacho to bed into the system, but i truly believe at this stage of his career, Spurs would be his best option.
He'll be playing week in week out for Leicester and ultimately at his age that's what he needs, consistent playing time.
We do have 2 strikers you know, maybe Iheanacho doesn't want to come to Spurs knowing that he'd be fighting it out with Janssen for minutes, he might as well stay at City in that case.
Not sure it'd be much of a fight tbh. Iheanacho offers so much more than Janssen.
Bit weird this. He's already proven himself at this level so why not put a bit more trust in him to get even better in the City side.Guardiola also made it very clear that he loves him and wants him back so they've insisted on a buy back clause. He was never an option for us
I think PG, quite rightly, assumes he doesn't have the time to bed in a youngster when he can but the finished article. It's basically a glorified loan where they can get a player ready to start for them in a year or two without having to do any of the work themselvesBit weird this. He's already proven himself at this level so why not put a bit more trust in him to get even better in the City side.
If he is worried about fighting for minutes with Janssen, he'll be justified in giving up the gameWe do have 2 strikers you know, maybe Iheanacho doesn't want to come to Spurs knowing that he'd be fighting it out with Janssen for minutes, he might as well stay at City in that case.

My view too. I cannot believe that he is going to Leicester for £20m to win sweet fa. What are we up to if we cannot find a place in our squad for a player of his qualities. You are not telling me that Leicester can offer him m,ore money and opportunity of winning something than the Mighty Spurs. If they let this player go to Leicester then Levy better have a "Bangin" alternative
You've completely ignored the fact that City refused to sell him without a buy back clause, something we would be utterly mad to agree to.
Maybe we(Poch) wasn't as high on him as us on here areShows how naive we were to let Walker go without looking to include KI and/or signing a bloody replacement before letting him go. City have said they won't sell him to a rival yet we did exactly that.

Ever heard of a sunk cost, me old mucker?Maybe so but pointless purchasing Kelechi him if we invested time and money in Janssen, the move doesn't make sense from anyone's point of view.
