All hail the King! 3 starts and 7 points!

Never trains but still puts Drogba and Anelka in his back pocket.

I'm only 20 years old but he is the most naturally gifted defender i have ever seen. He is also (when he's fit) the best defender i have ever seen. My spammer mates even put him (after moore ofc) as one of the best centre backs to ever wear the England shirt.

Ledley King i salute you!

He really is a world class defender and all round athlete, it's so unfortunate that his knees just won't let him go that one step further, forget Rio and JT, if Ledley was fully fit injury free he'd be England's first choice centre back.

The fact he turns up to train one day before matchday and then puts on performances like today is quite frankly unbelievable and as Harry has said, he is a freak.

I'd be happy if he can just play weekend games in the league, if we can squeeze 30 games a season out of him it will be worth it, we have Corluka and Dawson to cover for midweek fixtures.

It's absurd! The fact that he deals with the game physical is absurd enough with his minimal training. But it's even more impressing is he's ability to read the game, always seems to be in the rigth position and is 100% mentaly ready when you're so much injured. I would be nervous and very unsure of myself if I where to play a game without good preperations and a fit body. He is unhuman.

He's absolute fantastic. I got no higher admiration for a footballer, nor another human being I can think of.

i prey he lasts till he is 35. He is the best central defender i have watched. I'm not including Baresi etc....as i saw them once or twice. King is world class!

Where there is appreciation of The King being spread, I'm there.

One of few genuine world class players to ever pull on a Spurs shirt.

For me, the best English defender playing today.

King defines class. Just an awesome player to have in any side & I'm glad he's a yiddo.

+ he lost his shoes when drunk after the CC final.

Do you know what it is about King that I like above all else? I hope I'm not tempting fate but he genuinely seems to be a one-club player. The only other player I can think of in the top flight whose is the same is John Terry. However, there are subtle differences between Ledders and Terry -

a) Terry has been at Chelsea and was in the right place at the right time when Abramovich came along, so there has been scant chance of his loyalty being tested.

b) Ledley has only EVER played for one club. Terry had a loan spell at Forest. OK, perhaps the overall quality at Spurs was a little low, which enabled King to cement his place int he first team without having to gain any experience, but, hey, I'm biased. Get over it.

c) Ledders isn't a prize penis.

My faith in the loyalty of players was severely shaken in the summer by Robbie's Holiday (as the unfortunate Liverpool incident shall henceforth be referred to), but I do believe that Ledley would not abandon us. Perhaps I'm being naive, perhaps I'm seeing a quality in him that doesn't exist in footballers anymore. I don't care. As things stand, Ledley is going nowhere, and I'm happy.

In summary, Ledley King = Class, Ability, Loyalty, and Professionalism. That, to me, adds up to a world-class player.

Umm that was feared by senoir people too. There are not many who would be able to play without training.

Isn't it also the first time in over a year that we haven't played two games in a week for three weeks running?
