Was out with my mates yesterday on a Christmas drinking session, watching the Wycombe game first... Got talking about football with one of mates whose a Liverpool supporters.
He told me we are not going to win the league, I said we were only six points away from them, and explained how we have had so many injuries , the most players at world cup with pre-season and how we are still up there. I also said to him that if they lost VVD and Salah through injury they would really struggle, which he said they wouldnt, hopefully we can prove that.
He then moved on trying to wind me up with no stadium it's not complete... I showed him all the photos showing him where it at and he didnt respond. Then he was on to the manager situation in how Posh is.leaving and ours players saying that they will be sold..
I then played pool against one of my friends who beat me twice, mainly through luck and constant tucking up trying to get two shots... He's the sort that will have two shots will pot a ball then take the two other shots to put you in a snooker again.. Then we played double and when I tried giving advice he like I've won more games why would I listen too you.. Then went and fucked it up.. Last game as we were leaving i played him again and seven balled him, and he was i won all the others and every big team loose to a lower team occasionally...
Moral of the story don't have any mates or support Liverpool, if you do don't talk about football as they will ended driving you crazy with the shit that comes of there mouth...

Liverpool haven’t had a bad spell yet, we are seeing city have theirs now, at some point the scousers will have a blip. If they manage not to, then they deserve to win, but most teams do and this years league is so so competitive that it wouldn’t take much for City, us, or even the goons to catch them.

I remember saying similar about Leicester a couple of years ago (before we got into the title race that year).......the thought of Liverpool whinning the league terrifies me!
The same will probably happen as it did with leicester....once we get to jan/feb all other teams will just roll over and accept defeat against them. They will get helping hands from every ref, pundid, opponent manager.
Only hope is that like us they go through a period with key players injured. Vvd, salah, mane ect.

You should be more worried about the Grand National.
Teams rolled over for Leicester because it was plucky little Leicester and it was a romantic story.
Klopp has run out of steam every season he’s been at Liverpool. They were 3 points ahead of us at this stage last season and 4 points ahead of us at the same stage the season before.
We ended up 2 points and 10 points clear of them come the finish.
History shows we finish the season better than they do.
