Brendan Rogers is Klopp’s landlord
How many did Micky Quinn say they'll win it this year at the start of the season?
John Barnes was on the Alan Brazil breakfast show yesterday morning & he said that ,even if Liverpool finish 2nd & get knocked out of the CL by Barca it will still have been an amazing season (I get that, apart from the fact they bottled a 10 point lead) but the bit that made me crack up was, he said this isn't a one off & he expects them to win the PL next year (it's always next year with these ****'s)

In his defence/to play devil's advocate a bit, if they can keep their squad together, which there's no suggestion they won't do as far as I know, then there's no reason they can't challenge for the title again. It's different to under Rogers, where they relied heavily on Suarez who was blatantly gonna be off to Spain at the first opportunity, and Gerrard who was on his last legs etc. This team is still relatively young, should still all be there next season, and doesn't rely exclusively on one player. I think if VVD went out with a broken leg or something then that would be catastrophic, but assuming something out of the ordinary like that doesn't happen, I see no reason they can't be there or there abouts next year. Especially as they seem to be happy enough to spend big money on the right players.

Haven't they had a fair blessed season with regards to injuries, timing of, duration etc... and dives... blessed are the divers who follow in the flops of St Salah
They won't drop but I think they've had a bit of a freak season with no key injuries and the kind of luck they've had with ref decisions and other teams gifting them points so I don't know if there's much room for improvement.
