Didn't have the balls tbh

You're right, I didn't have the balls to come into a forum and give my opinion, maybe someone would disagree and put a little red X next to my post. I was shitting myself at the possibility of that but after today's game, and several nerve settling shots of the finest whiskey I plucked up to courage. Get a grip fella.

Petulant little fool. But then you have a history of that kinda thing.

So. No surprise

I don't (and most spurs supporters i would say) give a rats arse about Europa if it costs us top 4 - avb needs to get this in his fucking head

Stil conviced we will get a CL spot. We were due a wobble but certainly have it in us to go on a run again. Life would have been so much easier, and stress free, if General Levy had signed us a flippin striker or two though.....:(

This was always going to be a transition season. How we achieved so much is admirable but let's not kid ourselves, we are short of decent forwards, a 3rd quality CM and wide cover.

Spurs, I think we can officially say that no matter who is on the pitch or manager we will bottle it or contrive in some other entertaining way to fuck up.

All the top teams have had a bad patch this season, this is ours, no more no less. It all depends on the mentality behind the scenes now. If we have got the team spirit everyone is talking about then we'll pull out of it.

It'll be just like us to go on and beat city and Chelsea after this week, so don't let your heads drop yet.

Looking at the table, it struck me that it was exactly at this stage in 1987, 2nd in the table, 10 points ahead of Liverpool in the table, that we contrived to finish behind Liverpool in third(after 42 games).

Liverpool are currently 9 points behind us. Fortunately they've not got Kenny Dalglish in the prime of his managerial career and 4 games less.

That did happen under Harry in his first full season, very unlike us.

Seasoned observers will point to 85-86, 86-87 and recent seasons in the last several years to say this is how it is most likely to be - a long run without wins(at least the next 4 games), but picking it up in the last few when it doesn't matter.

Yeah, we go on a good run and everything is sweetness and light, we're getting CL, could possibly even finish second, we're this and we're that. Bale is the best in the world, Super Jan blah blah fucking blah. Our cocks grow so big it's a wonder any of us can get up and walk in a straight line.

Then we have a couple of bad results. We're shit and will be playing in the Europa League next season (if we're lucky), this player is shit, that player is a ****, Bale believes his own publicity, i'm off to kick the wifes flange off, anyone know where I can buy some rope, if we don't win today it's goodbye CL etc etc

Over the top when we're doing well and the same when we lose. I guess that's football fans for you.

The spectre of last seasons chokefest looms large and probably scares the shit out of quite a few people but I'll wait to see how it all pans out before I have a rant, as disappointing as today's result is.

But two things spring to mind after some of the comments i've seen over the last couple of hours.

Some of you are aged between 6 and 10 and some are in dire need of some sort of counselling in how to deal with disappointment.

Thank fuck there's also some of you who are sane.

Thanks for that mate, needed something to laugh at.

Off to buy some rope now to kick the wife's flange off! Ta!
