So glad they lost last night, must admit I didn’t even realise it was on not that I’d have watched it.
This Rashford thing is just awful and I hope the school teacher gets the tin can.
I thought a load of players had decided to come off social media though?
Only for four days, they make too much money from being on it the rest of the time.

Why would anyone want to go to this club with fans like this?‍♂️

Fuck sake, what an absolute bell end.

Rashford’s one of the most likeable guys in football, and it’s obvious he’s not making a big deal about this “because he played badly.”

That teacher should have the sack if true. But it’s not exactly hard to make a fake profile of someone to get them in trouble. Lots of people saying “name and shame” but glad Rashford has gone through the police rather than mob justice and trial by social media.

The coverage last night was quite amusing. We had scholes Rio and Owen Hargreaves obviously all pro Utd. Scholes says..look at Foyth. Rubbish centre half at Spurs, now he is a full back. Rashford will dominate him.
Simon Jordan vindicated after he said that Utd would win nothing under Solsjaer.
Biggest club in the world.........on what basis.

Their fans are utterly deluded at the moment.

They go on about Tottenham needing to do this and that to win trophies because players will leave yet are still adament Solskjaer is taking them forward.

Every big decisive game, OGS has failed miserably, he's looked well out of his depth and has lacked in game nous, just sits their scribbling whilst the opposite coach is on the touchline directing and instructing.

As soon as Villarreal were set last night, I knew United would struggle to do anything because OGS would have had no answer to it.

A lot of fans say getting second is progress, yet they are only sat in second cause Liverpool had a disastrous campaign and Chelsea had a novice worse than OGS. They are at best the 4th best team in the country. They are still losing decisive games and they still have the same issues. The only difference I see in them is Fernandes, who chips in with a lor of goals, all their other issues remain.

Rashford is still hot and cold
They struggle to break teams down
They rely on individual brilliance or space that the oppostion give them.
They still make awful defensive mistakes.
Still lose and draw games they should be winning.
Still can't beat Arsenal.

Mourinho did better with a more unbalanced squad. The likes of Fellaini and Jones. Ole has no excuses on that front.

He's failing and they are too blind to see it

All black players should boycott the England team in protest until social media sorts itself out. The football authorities also need to be create real pressure to support reform. I don't use or understand social media but Im sure they would buckle with such pressure to remove and filter/ban posters/report to police such comments, especially if government get involved as they did with the super league farce.

Everyone has glossed over the sheer arrogance of OGS. He put his injured captain on the bench as he was more concerned with avoiding a “John Terry moment” WHEN they collected the trophy, rather than selecting a sub that would help him to win the game

Utter pricks, glad they lost. Glad they “only need” another £2-300m according to fans and pundits to be able to challenge city

The real solution is for a player or two to start their own Social Media company where they can determine exactly what is and isn't permissable by 'fans' and set their own ID&V reqs. They have the funds, contacts and existing platforms to ensure the success of any such venture. Rashford, as he's the target for so much bile and bullshit, earns more in a month than I secured in seed financing for my business and annually earns just under double our Series A raise.

In reality they wouldn't even need to put up the funds, VC's would bite their hands off to be part of this action.

Not playing for England would embolden the fuckwits, Rashford et al building themselves a Unicorn would crush them

For me direct action boycott England. To let off the social media companies to not monitor racist comments is wrong. These social media companies earn a lot of money as well, they should be forced into blocking posts that are deemed to be racist. They are successful in blocking posts that are copyright or inflammatory why not racism.

Well, copyright infringment is illegal and is dealt with under the US DMCA. Social media businesses are under the jurisdiction of their home country, which is the United States and as we know all speech, regardless of how distasteful and wrong is protected by the First Amendment unless it insights actual violence.
These businesses also have to tread a very fine line, the more they curtail speech under their ever expanding community guidelines policies the faster the removal of the 1a protections which makes them legally liable for every dumb take on their platforms, rendering the whole business model untenable, potentially closing their doors and removing platforms from billions of voices.

The best thing for footballers to do is build their own, even as a collective. This would absolutely dent FB and Twitter's bottom line, major advertisers would flock to it (Nike, Adidas, Puma, UA, Barclays, EA, Sony, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, GSK, P&G, Sky and BT off the top of my head) and personalities from other sports would join in too.

Language filters won't crush braying jackasses, nor will boycotting international football. It will embolden them. Turning their fuckwittery into billions will.

you’ve convinced me. Also
I guess, the abused players could always stop using Social Media.

OGS getting rewarded with a three year contract. If Woodward wanted Poch before, now is the time.

Unbelievable that a maths teacher was that ignorant to racially abuse him and even did so from their own account (that was swiftly deactivated after Rashford replied to the coward).

What is wrong with this people in that they feel it’s acceptable to racially abuse players. They really are scum of the earth and should be heavily punished when found.

ALL players should boycott England in protest. Just the black players would start a narrative. If Kane/Grealish/Maguire/etc say I'm not playing in the EURO unless the racism stops, THAT makes a statement.

So they should give up something they might enjoy because there are no checks and balances for users?
