Cottee and Gayle were on Sky Sports previewing our game at Chelsea. Guess what they said..

Spurs need a trophy, blah blah. Getting a name as legends, blah blah. Crashed out of CL bla blah.

I'm sure west ham would swap. Suck it up pricks!!

Great problem solving by the board again...

Let's close the area around the directors box so the protest will be further away.

Yeah we crashed out against Juventus. Who are one of the top teams in the Champions League and season veterans of it.

Fuck off Cottee and Gayle you pair of cocks.

That particular narrative won't change until we win, I'm just bracing myself if we fail to win the FA Cup this season, the media will go in overdrive.

Don't waste your life on people who enjoy seeing the misfortune of other teams. 90% of the teams crash out sooner or later. We are having an awesome season... West Ham fans wish they were us.

Mark Noble has issued a rallying cry to the West Ham fans to get behind him and the team and, to be fair, KUMB are right behind him, with daggers in hand...

"Do shut up, Mark for **** sake. Getting bored of him toeing the Board line and talking to the Fans like numbskull idiots."

Well, if the cap fits, but anyway...

"He's made his bed now he has to lay in it. He could have been remembered as something different but instead will be remembered as the player with no ambition who only stayed at his local club as no one else wanted him and he danced to the tune of the board. Hopefully his wages get cut in half when we get relegated. He's a sell out.."

"He could have just kept his mouth shut and got the team to come out of the blocks all guns blazing but they haven't done it once this season so no reason to expect them to do it Saturday. It's just passing the buck. It's the fans blah blah. About time as captain he took some responsibility and stood up for the people he grew up with. He knows what our grief is and it isn't the team. Lets face it we have always been shit." (y)

And then things really start to get personal...

"A Shit Kevin Nolan."

"If he wasn't from Canning Town he would be twinned with Kovac or Spector. Which Premier club has come in for him in the last five years? Or ever? Doesn't that tell you something?"

"When people say club legend, it just demonstrates how far we have fallen."

Many stick up for Nobes, pointing out that he's no doubt operating 'under orders', although, given his issues with mobility, this poster might have come up with a better metaphor..

"This does have Brady's grubby mitts all over it. Mark is nothing more than a lightning rod." :D

But, ultimately, any attempt to stick up for him gets shot down in flames, with my favourite exchange running thus...

Hammer 1: "People will miss him when he has gone. That is for sure."

Hammer 2: "What will they miss? As captain what has he delivered that we will miss? Did he win a coin toss once?"

Brady's arrogance, lies and generally narcissistic behaviour riles me up in part because I'd actually like to see a lot more women in the boardroom at football clubs, and she's by far the most prominent figure in that capacity, but she's giving women everywhere, and particularly in football, a bad name.

We need more women at the top of the game - it's not like English football is dominated by a swathe of modern, educated, forward-thinking men - Levy is probably one of the few actually - it's mostly overbearing foreign oil and sports barons like Uzmanov and Kroenke at the scum, testosterone-fuelled macho man-children like Peace at West Brom (aware he's recently left) and vile little old conmen like Sullivan and Gold.

A few intelligent, articulate and successful women appearing at the top clubs would be a breath of fresh air and fresh thinking that the game could sorely do with. Brady is in no way helping that to happen.

Mind you, her daughter is absolutely banging.
