According to Polish television host Mateusz Borek, Robert Lewandowski – who is currently with German club Borussia Dortmund – will reveal which club he will be joining next on January 2nd. Borek took to Twitter to reveal the news just after Lewandowski appeared on his TV show 'Football Café' making the Poles tweet even more believable.

Lewandowski's current deal at Borussia Dortmund is set to expire at the end of the season, meaning the the Polish international striker is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club from January 1st, when the winter trasnfer window opens. Bookmakers have had Bayern Munich down as favourites to land Lewandowski for some time now but the player has never confirmed this is where he would like to play next, leaving many speculating where the forward will be plying his trade next season.

Europe’s elite have shown interest in signing Lewandowski and he has previously been linked with moves to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid but right now all signs are pointing to a club closer to home in the Bundesliga.

I thought he had already confirmed he was moving to Bayern at the end of his contract.

Clubs will be falling over themselves to get him on a pre-contract agreement.

Easily a 25m striker - can see him being offered 120k+ where ever he goes plus a fat signing on bonus.

Over to you Levy.

Anyone know if that will be now for a fee, or in the summer for bugger all?
