And in no way does Jamie hold a grudge against Levy for sacking his dad. No way at all. They seem to have justified it on the basis that Redknapp and Souness were at Spurs for a season or two, at either end of their careers, and that it's broadly the same as the combined 30 odd seasons at Anfield they and Carragher must have had between them.
We can win the game - I think we have a much much better GK, defence and midfield - the front three is the only area they compete with us and I think Salah is a fantastic player and Firmino and Mane are very good players too. We need to sit deep and not leave space in behind as Salah and Mane can exploit this - press their midfield when they enter our half and then break forward in numbers.
We did not do this last year which is why we lost so badly.
Can, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum and Chamberlain are very average players and we all know about their CBs and FBs we need to nullify their pace in behind and get their centre backs nice and far apart where their individual weaknesses can be exploited.
Last year in the first 20 minutes or so we didn't know what hit us, but if West Brom can go there and win, we can too.
And Ben Davies didn’t do himself any favours last year, dumbstruck throughout the game.
Let's hope the ref is actually fair today. Marriner was so bad against United that I almost started believing in deliberate bias.
Say what?Lose 3-1 but it's ok.
Say what?
If a team is widely accepted to have better individuals but are losing to lesser individuals then you have ask why. It’s not Just oh they sang YNWA really loud what do you expect. If individual players quality isn’t important what’s the point in spending £50m on players. May as well just dip into the league 1 for our targets. My point is you can’t just dismiss these bad performances as oh all it’s Anfield what do you expect. The players will be no less fit than Wednesday. So therefore if it is another tame performance there has to be an underlying reason. Which can only be mentality/attitude or tactics. Anyways hopefully this will be irrelevant and we paste them 0-4

I’m not sure how to say it any other way.Break down what you just said comrade.
For me it's because I don't think Klopp will make the same mistake twice. He went physical and planned to sit and counter but they don't have great defensive mids which let us target Lovren easily. I suspect today he'll go high intensity press with speed like they did vs. City.I dont see why we wouldn't play the same strategy as the home game tbh
Doesn't that play into a counter-attacking strategy though? For me it's because I don't think Klopp will make the same mistake twice.
