Agree. The bonus of Kulusevski is he’s comfortable operating out wide in a 343, or coming more narrow into the no10 role in a 3412, even dropping deeper into a 352. Someone like Paqueta or Zainolo would be a like for like alternative for that role, so we change the players but not the structure.

think kulu gives us so many options because he's so intelligent. makes such a difference and means he can play multiple positions tbf.

Let's be honest - this one isn't happening.

He's just the slightly enigmatic, X-factor heavy player that excites us all, and we all want it to happen more than (I would guess) Conte does

I'm quite sure AC& PF are aware of the player

I'm sure they're aware of him, i never suggested otherwise, but I think we seem to want him more than they do, at least at the price being discussed - not much noise around it really

Do we have any decent links to him or is this thread about fans wanting him rather than any potential transfer?

New article on ESPN Brazil:

Midfielder Lucas Paquetá should indeed remain at Lyon next season even after a strong survey of the international market.

According to ESPN.com.br, the Brazilian national team athlete received polls from teams such as Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham in recent weeks.

Despite the interest of these clubs, the conversations between Paquetá and the representatives did not advance. With that, the midfielder should return to France this week after a vacation period to start the pre-season with his teammates from Lyon.

The report could also know that Paquetá is completely adapted with France, is comfortable in Lyon and will not force a departure for any club at this time. The player's contract with Lyon runs until June 2025.

“I want to stay with the good players, but you have to be realistic. There is also the opinion of the player, the club, the rival clubs. We know that Lucas is a very good player, but he depends on what he wants, we'll see “ Lyon manager Peter Bosz. Paqueta is def available.

The intrigue. So how fast do you think you’re buying his shirt if we sign him? Part of me wants to believe it’s this scenario where if we sign Spence we go for a Paqueta. If we can’t get Spence, we go Maddison and a cheaper RWB from Italy.

That third kit has got me thinking tbf ?

I completely agree with your train of thought re Spence + Paqueta or Molina (as example) and HG AM. My only concern is it will be JWP instead of Maddison.

I'd be happy with either scenario personally.

At the mooted prices I’d be stunned if it was JWP.

The money this fella would cost, I'd rather us go out and buy a top rwb and lwb, the lwb dependant on whether Reguilon is leaving or not.
