If this thread carries on with people just abusing other posters it will end up being closed with probably a few poster's getting bans.

I know the response should be not to get involved, but it's pretty difficult not to respond when yet another thread is created and seized upon by the inane crew who would rather beat their chests and engage in bashing off everything to do with the club, including each other, rather than actually consider the forum and how it should be used.

If every thread was like this (which it's turning out to be) then you will find a certain type of poster prevails and you lose all that should be good about it.

Further more if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it's quite difficult not to treat it as one. You can't on one hand nail your colours to the mast and not expect to have that thrown back at you with the same attitude. People that are so forthright should really expect it a little more rather than throwing shit around and then crying when their flaws get pointed out.

Don't need to sing anything, if anyone wants a Dutch manager then turn up wearing orange. It would be an awesome sight to behold if it actually resulted in the signing of De Boer although if he's not your first choice then please yourselves :pompous:

We'll probably end up with the bloody Blackpool manager.

I don't think its a great idea in all honesty.

Just cheer the team on and enjoy the day.

Sherwood will be gone, and I do think it lacks a little class to be chanting the names of other managers. Its disrespectful to Tim (two wrongs don't make a right etc).

How about we just get right behind them for the last game of the season and finish it with a good win.

Then lets put this season behind us with Tim being replaced with the most deserving candidate.

Everybody bring a toilet-roll & TP the pitch, that would let him know exactly what we think of this season.

But there is a large section of fans that want LVG as well.

Those two seem the favorite, but what one do 'we' want?

Also if the fans on Sunday do sing for one of them (or even both...) and we get someone else. What would be the reaction of the fans?

Would he get backed, or would he be hated as it wasn't the one the fans wanted?

Think fans being heard because we are unhappy is fine, but we have to be careful, and i dont think the demanding of a manager isnt the best way to go

Great point, Chris. Already today (on a different site) I've seen 'supporters' talking about Pochettino, and stating "If we sign Pochettino we will be back to midtable football", along with "Pochettino will be a massive mistake" and others along the same line.

And people wonder why we have such a regular turnover of managers? o_O

I shout at
Just a simple......"we hope you're sacked in the morning, sacked in the moooorning"

That should send out the message loud and clear (ok maybe not loud as the game is at home and we are like mice at home) ;-)

Morning? ffs do we have to wait that long?...:banghead:

And REALLY sing for Sandro, we can't lose him.

Why are they 'supporters' (as you put it) if they're voicing their concerns about a potential manager? Are we supposed to 'support' a manager before they've even been offered the job?

Fair enough you can question the support being shown towards the team or current manager, but by putting 'supporters' in apostrophes you're implying that someone's support is in doubt, which makes no sense whatsoever as there's nobody to support.

Coming fresh after your "fuck off Sherwood we don't want you here" chant suggestion towards the current manager as well (which I see you've now deleted).

1: How about waiting until after the event, thus giving the fella, whoever it may be, a chance to actually give a reason to proclaim him as "shit" or "a failure"? Too much to ask, yeah?

2: I believe Sherwood has actually done precisely what I suggest is necessary before 'supporters' should do before they are actually proclaiming him as "shit" or "a failure", no? Can't believe you overlooked such a detail

3: Why do you suppose I deleted the post, despite NOBODY commenting about it, or rating it in any negative or positive manner? Heaven forbid one may have realised one had perhaps overstepped the mark, so removed the post before it created some unnecessary arguing bullshit. That's an honour I'd never wish to take from your good self

1: How can you question whether or not someone is a supporter if they're not even our manager? If we got linked with Tom Cleverley would anyone criticising him also be a bad supporter? There's a massive difference between supporting a current player or manager, and raising concerns or criticising someone we've merely been linked to.

2: Haha, so I overlooked something included in your follow-up reply? Well that makes sense...

3: Yes well done on posting a bitter, ranting little post suggesting the supporters should tell Sherwood to "fuck off", then realising that, actually, that's a shit thing to even joke about. Congratulations on your belated moral caliber.
