I'm always amazed at how people like Tan, the Russian mafia man at Chelski along with many others manage to buy English clubs when the rules clearly state that those buying in have to have reputable business reputations in order to do so.
Obviously big money does talk.

Certainly does - wasn't there a club recently taken over by some spurious individual who ended up in jail before the papers were signed, FA denied him, he appealed and they went, "Oh, alright then" and it went through? Yeah, way to uphold your high standards, FA board (y)

I have come to the conclusion that the members of the FA board are like Pokemon and have spent the last twenty years evolving into strange blob creatures - no backbone, no balls and almost entirely faceless, clammy, amorphous blobs. If they ever got into a jacuzzi together it'd look like a spittoon.

Leeds owner was deemed unfit because of a unpaid duty for his yacht which was why there was so much fuss and it overturned which you he argued him not paying tax for a yacht and car doesnt have anything to do with a multimillion brand.

But it is crazy that he got denied for not paying tax on a range rover but no one says shit about a guy who potentially killed off board members to gain control of a major oil company

It's all very off as Malkay has dopped his legal battle with Tan and issued a grovelling statement...

Why would he do this?

From the outside if I was Malkay I'd be wanted to sue the fuck out of Tan for his continued comments / behaviour.

So he can manage another team

I would imagine it was part of the settlement.

Tan: I'll pay you a vast amount of money to make a grovelling apology and keep your mouth shut.

Mackay: Uh....... OK.

Funny enough rumoured as the next Southampton manager if Poch comes to Spurs.

Also strongly linked with Norwich, he played there for six years and I think he'll take that job if he's offered it before any PL side shows serious interest.

Yes, that would seem to be the logical next step. Would still be hilarious if he took over Southampton since it's such a step upwards from Cardiff.

I guess, but given how much Tan has and continues to slag him off I'm not sure if I would have been able to give him the apology...
You would if he paid you off as Slick Mongoose alluded to;)

I guess lol...

It's just that Tan is such a TWAT and he must be STOPPED!!! :jimlad:
MM would have pissed himself laughing knowing that's what he had to do to get back into management and get a few quid, especially with his sense of humour. Coupled with the fact everyone in football knows he wasn't the problem!

Bloody hell, if these are true, he's going to be in deep shit.
THE DAMNING MESSAGES
'Fkn chinkys. Fk it. There's enough dogs in Cardiff for us all to go around.'

On the arrival of South Korean international Kim Bo-Kyung

'Go on, fat Phil. Nothing like a Jew that sees money slipping through his fingers'

On football agent Phil Smith

'He's a snake, a gay snake. Not to be trusted'

On an official of another club

'Not many white faces amongst that lot but worth considering.'

On a list of potential signings

'I hope she's looking after your needs. I bet you'd love a bounce on her falsies.'

On a player's female agent

A picture entitled Black Monopoly (where every square was a "Go to Jail" square)

Sent to members of Cardiff's staff

Edit: It's even worse:

  • In July 2012, Cardiff signed South Korean international Kim Bo-kyung, but when Moody informed Mackay on July 12 that ‘five of the b******s including the player’ were arriving for talks, the reply from Mackay’s phone was: ‘Fkn chinkys.’ A further message says: ‘Fk it. There’s enough dogs in Cardiff for us all to go around.’
  • In reference to the prominent football agent, Phil Smith, a text states: ‘Go on, fat Phil. Nothing like a Jew that sees money slipping through his fingers’. The Israeli club, Maccabi Tel Aviv, are also referred to simply as ‘the Jews’.
  • A football official at another club is referred to as ‘a gay snake’ and ‘the homo’ and someone who is ‘not to be trusted’, while a French player is someone ‘who struck me as an independently minded young homo’.
  • An exchange with a young player who has a female agent makes reference to a sex act and states: ‘I hope she’s looking after your needs,’ the player is then told. ‘I bet you’d love a bounce on her falsies.’
  • On August 16, 2012, a list of players proposed by a French agent is forwarded, stating to Mackay that ‘he needs to rename his agency the All Blacks’. A separate text in reference to a list of French players states: ‘Not many white faces amongst that lot but worth considering.’
  • In a separate exchange a picture entitled ‘Black Monopoly’ is sent, with every square a ‘Go To Jail’ square. Of one African player, it is stated: ‘Doesn’t look like a good cv. And he’s Nigerian.’

All rather rich to see the Daily Heil doing a character assassination of someone with that lot.

How does a club get the messages of a manager?
