I'm always amazed at how people like Tan, the Russian mafia man at Chelski along with many others manage to buy English clubs when the rules clearly state that those buying in have to have reputable business reputations in order to do so.
Obviously big money does talk.
Certainly does - wasn't there a club recently taken over by some spurious individual who ended up in jail before the papers were signed, FA denied him, he appealed and they went, "Oh, alright then" and it went through? Yeah, way to uphold your high standards, FA board
I have come to the conclusion that the members of the FA board are like Pokemon and have spent the last twenty years evolving into strange blob creatures - no backbone, no balls and almost entirely faceless, clammy, amorphous blobs. If they ever got into a jacuzzi together it'd look like a spittoon.
