Even with these alleged comments, if he was a top class manager or player there would still be a significant amount of supporters who would want him at our club.

It would certainly lend a certain frisson to the 'Yid Army' chants.

BBC
Crystal Palace confirm sporting director Iain Moody has resigned from his role.

Seems to confirm that there's truth to the allegations.

I suppose the lesson in all of this is dont cross Vincent Tan!
IF the allegations are true then they've brought it on themselves, Tan is in this case only doing what any other person in his position should.

i agree with the point about the content and alleged behaviour itself, but unless theres been a complaint from the people mentioned in the messages, is there any other motive for the revelations from Tan other than spite? I cant see it myself.

Get the sense that Tan's sitting there like Lesley Chow...

On another note, Palace have had a really shit start to the season. They'll end up with Sherwood now won't they.

Yea but if they were text messages off his phone how did the club get a hold of them?

Surely he would have his own phone?
Vincent Tan hired investigators who applied for warrants for the messages etc.

Tan is certainly a nasty piece of work, good luck Ole

All of a sudden Tan doesn't seem quite so mental. Given that he's Chinese Malaysian, I'm sure he felt personally offended by the texts

If Mackay had behaved himself he would had nothing to be worried about. Not Tans fault

Incidentally, does anyone think it's a tad suspicious that this has all come out in the wake of Palace being fined for stealing Cardiff's team sheet?

It seems far too coincidental that it's all been revealed at the same time. Did Tan just not think that the punishment was enough, and therefore decide to completely fuck up Palace by undermining their transfer dude and their potential manager?

I wonder if this was part of the reason that Pullis left. Obviously not involved in the dodgy texts but I wonder if he was wary of working with Moody if there was dodgy stuff going on behind the scenes.

Tan is fast becoming one of my favourite people. Trolling the Cardiff thugs by changing their kit and badge, and now he's outing Mr 1970s attitude-man in style. Plus he really does look like a Bond villain.

If he could kneecap Wankshere he'll officially be on my Christmas card list.

He could have done more damage if he let them appoint Mackay and a few weeks later leak the story. Now that would have been a neat trick
