Knew it wouldn't be long.

You’re blind mate. You always rip the piss out of people who talk about it but never say ANYTHING to counter the argument, all you have is snarky comments.

It’s obvious that the big teams get the calls, even we have benefitted from it.

The officials in the league are incompetent buffoons and don’t have a spine against the bigger sides.

First half we look petrified of Man City. So far they've just completely bottled it. It's hard to watch because we are so much better than this.

We lost the midfield if kept playing winks. He’s not confident enough..at least Lamela can press well and good at counter

We are outnumbered, hugely at times, but it was always going to be a risk. Can’t blame Winks for being overrun, but when in possession he’s not been good enough by a long way so far.

I’d have started Lamela. He presses better than anyone in our side

Not a bad halftime scoreline away to them, considering.

We have to adopt a killer mentality for the second half though. We've been too wishy-washy, almost like we're expecting to lose automatically.

Be more aggressive.

Christmas come early being only 1 down. Too many 3 out of 10s out there. Trippier, Eriksem , Alli, Winks...This team is potentially great but something has got to give because this isn't ok at the moment.

If we get carved apart fair play but the game is littered with our dross.

It's not us being 3/10 it's facing a team head and shoulders above us.

The gulf in class is there for all to see. The odd three or four hundred million in quality players being the difference.

But we do have a new gin palace being built so lets look on the bright side...

They successfully isolated Kane and Son.. Dele is not going to hit form and Eriksen is just a timid fuck to where he used to be..

No worries at all nullify us. So sad.

Man City basically doing what we've stopped doing this season... Chasing down the ball and space relentlessly, and keeping the ball moving. As such we're getting overrun in midfield by man city's energy.

Be amazed if we get anything out of this.

Sane is a player btw.

1-0 down at half time to a team 6 wins in front of us ... I'm not sure why people are so fucking upset.
I don't mind losing to a better team, but I want us to at least try to be smart, and have plan, and if that's not working, then dig in and fight. At the moment we're doing to usual thing when things go against us at big grounds. We start playing like zombies.

Lloris - watch ederson. That is how you kick.

Brilliant shot stopper our captain but I don’t understand how you play this game your whole life and have no ability to pick out a pass.

Today or generally?

I’d say generally this season dele, dembele and rose not at their level, eriksen a little below par winks above and trips about par.

Today mostly all below but that is because of how city are playing. But you’re right they need to pick their heads up, dele is getting frustrated but he’s not exactly doing much.

Winks has looked a different player the last couple of games.

Eriksen has been poor for a while now.

I don't think Winks is being helped alongside Dembele in this game. It's not a strong enough base to give Winks the ability to go out and play. Unfortunately we have no options at the moment.

Not a good half at all and Poch needs to get his thinking camp on. We've been too open. Too slow to the second ball. Too slow to pick a pass. Too slow to pick up runners. Too slow to take control.

As good as city are we are lacking application out there.

Well they've been very good and we haven't but I haven't seen anyone not trying or not putting in 100%

I think you're confusing performance with application

So what exactly have they been 'trying' to do? Not a lot from what I've seen!

Simple for me second half we should go

5-3-2

Davies on at centre half and bring llorente on and knock it long to try and turn their defence

City are superb.

Need to change the tactics... Too easy to blame individuals but we won't get a thing set up like this. Hit it long to Kane, I'd even consider Llorente for Son.

City too good to play anything other than direct.

I wish Kane was a bit more aware that when the ball comes towards him - his first instinct to try and find a way to shoot is not necessarily the best instinct.
Trippier getting raped by Sané (God I would love a player like him!)

There is some situations where a one touch off makes more sense but as you said he is always trying to work the shot.
Agree with you about Sane too.

History of our results against the top 6 suggests we’ll lose this. Not getting my hopes up. I can’t see us keeping city out again and I can’t see us scoring once let alone twice.
