I agree but it's all heat of the moment stuff. Not saying that there aren't any valid criticisms but if we are losing to anyone on here, it tends to go into meltdown and objectivity goes out of the window.

Poor tactics, lack of pace in our play and lack of lack of intensity... Trippier exposed against pace really missing a propper DM in the middle of the park to win us the ball and shield the defence.

Pochettino's had a fucking mare. It's like he's watched this City side and thought "how many ways can I get this wrong". I said before KO he's got his RB rotation the wrong way round, that gets emphasised when you are playing a back 4 instead of the CB3 system. We've got 2 cm's up against their 3, and one of ours is using a zimmer, so we can't play out from their press because it's easy for them flood press every man.

For the first 25 minutes we were playing 4222, with Kane and Son marking their CB's - great if you have 3cm's behind them and super quick fb's to push up and stop the out ball, but we haven't so they just passed the ball out and they had 3 cm, plus the FB;s and because we were in the 4222 narrow format, which meant Winks and Dembele were having to cover the whole width of the pitch in midfield.

This was my worst nightmare. We've just turned up like we are playing fucking Huddersfield or Stoke away, thinking we can bumble around, neither sit back and be compact, match up in midfield or even press hard and be energetic all over the place and lose like Napoli, giving it some welly.

And the rare occasion we've made it into their third we've looked like 7yo's.

Sane is one of the quickest players in the world. When Gary Neville used to come up against a quicker player, he or Ferguson would pull Beckham back, or a midfielder across. Or Fegie would play Park and sit him in front. Have a plan.

They've been at it, they're great, but that doesn't excuse the vast swathes of space we've left wide open infront of out defence.

We really miss toby at the back and a real dm (like Wanyama) in the middle. Since we can't move Dier out of defence i would be tempted to switch Winks with Sissoko. He can use he's only quality which is he's physique to create hold up play, maybe get some easy freekicks and hopefully get us out of our own half (i know its much to ask from a player that has zero ball control but we need to do something radical to change this)

We are 3 against 2 and being overrun in midfield. He should replace trips with Aurier , Lamela on for Winks and play 4-3-3 and match them up. Dembele,Ali and Lamela,with Son, Eriksen and Kane as the 3 in front. My opinion because it cannot get any worse than that half. But you know what Poch will do bring Sissoko on for winks hope I'm wrong we will see. Up the Spurs

Sissoko in the middle against the pressing of Citeh. He would have lost possession just as much if not more. He has 0 calmness on the ball.

But he has other qualities. If wink is not keeping possession what does he add?

So clearly the wrong formation by Poch. Trying to go toe to toe with city it’s embarrassing he can’t see it. Southampton and West Ham put up a better show than we have playing 352.

Who would you have as your back 3 and DM then, considering 2 of our 1st choice central defenders and Vic are all out?

Dier as DM with Foyth, Jan and Davies as the back 3?

Trippier has been a liability that half and winks is not aggressve enough drop dele in there and kick some fucking lumps out of the overpaid shits.

I'd also stick Llorente on - give them something more to think about in their part of the pitch. We can resort to Diet hoofing it upfront. At least it would change the current dynamic and stubborn insistence on playing from the back.

I think that's as a result of their pressing and the pressure that they're putting us under, how many times have we done this to teams and their fans say the same thing about their players.

Pleased its only 1 0 probably against common thoughts on here, but I would take Eriksen (done f***) all again with Lamela and Davies on for Rose (who is an accident waiting to happen) and I would honestly look for a new Keeper in the summer. Great shot stopper, but for 100 grand a week I want someone who can kick a ball
