Just didn't have enough today can't help but think Toby, Davinson & Victor would have been much harder to score against.
I will also whinge about Otamendi not getting a red card but fuck me that was a tough game today.

Man City might have more money than us, they might have a better team than us, there is no shame in losing if the other team plays better than you..... But we basically gifted them four goals with a catalogue of errors and sloppy play throughout and made it easy for them. That isn't good enough and is very disappointing.

Have our lads been drinking beer and eating pizza all week? City were great but fuck me our players were off the pace. Dire.

Danny Rose can just fuck off now. That's 3 times he has lost the ball high up the pitch and made zero effort to get back. Absolute prick who is just trying to put together a highlights real. Not interested in doing any graft what so ever. Absolute prick!!!!

Tbf trix, it’s hard to single out any single player for criticism during that, dembele loses ball to De Bruyne and makes a pathetic attempt at getting back. There’s a serious attitude issue with a lot of these players. Surely something has happened behind the scenes.

People on here need to calm down

City are a damn good side and so they should be with all the oil money they've spent
Again it’s not about them, or losing, it’s that we lacked organisation or application. We might as well have sent the development team...

None of our players bar maybe Kane could get in city's team and that is a stone cold fact, as far as players leaving next summer I couldn't give a fuck apart from alderweireld and Kane the rest can go!

No. Aurier is and has always been the better player. He's a very good RB. And he also wouldn't have been either woefully out of position or getting skinned alive when actually in position, on the off chance he was. Trippier had one of the worst, if not the worst, defensive performance I have ever seen.

They're both flawed. Trippier isn't fast enough to cope with Sane, Aurier is rash and concedes penalties. They're both also good going forward in different ways. But neither is good enough for City and Sane on fire. The only players in our squad who might had made a difference today are the ones who were injured or suspended. But they had more players out than we did, so however you cut it they are just better than us.

That is one of those rare games where we won’t have a scapegoat. To a man, they were below par.

I’m pretty sure every single one of them could create a lowlights reel of their contributions from today.

If Wanyama can’t get back, we absolutely have to buy a strong CM in January. Dembele is a busted flush and Winks is a young player having his ups and downs. Can’t rely on them.

I’d pack Rose off while he has value. His head isn’t there at all. At least Davies gives a shit, despite his limitations.

Dogshite! Anyone hoping for a reaction next week, dream on. This team has gone, they have NO character, it looked good last season because everything was going our way, now we are in a bit of a pickle the true character, or rather lack of, of these players is shining through!! When the going gets tough, our lot do a runner!! It's fucking pitiful!!!

Come on, cut the defensive players some slack. Against Citeh attacking calibre. What do we expect? Verts and Dier had been great in keeping the attack respectable until the last 15 minutes where their morales sunk in.

On the contrary against those shit defence of Citeh and yet we couldn't even have a couple shots on target, shouldn't the AM3 get some fucking sticks first? Like Dele and Eriksen who lost countless balls or not even passing through the first guy with their passes?? Plain pathetic that offers nothing in both attack and defence.

Honestly, I thought we'd win today. But nobody should get too pissed off with the result. We can still turn them over at Wembley. The league might have been fully purchased by the time we play them again.

No doubt when they play Juventus they'll all turn up.

Very annoying.

In a since this was kinda good as it really shows where we lack

Cm is no good, sissoko, dembele , winks just not at the level. Winks has time on his side.
Only wanyama

Trippier certainly not good enough defensively, thy got very little change from rose.
Be funny hearing that Davies is better anyway when we sell him just like trippier is better than walker... LOL

Dier is what he is, good utility. Not ufussed as he'd be on bench if everyone is fit. Or should anyway

Massive competition needed for erisken and Dele. Them two can be world class but also look west ham quality equally. Need more son types on the bench.

Finally Poch needs to cut down on the angel dust.
Some such tactics or lack of them today
