Despite playing away in a moany environment with a referee who's clearly lenient towards the home side I think we've applied ourselves very well here.

More care needed for the final ball but then what's new? Defended well and harassed them out of any sync.

Keep this up but subs might well be crucial here to both teams. Not likely to make a string of chances here so someone like Chadli might prove more invaluable than Lamela.

Disgraceful refereeing today. Can't believe one individual have this much power over such a massive game.

Obviously on the take

Exciting game although Clusterfuck is doing his damm best to not give citeh any fouls against or cards while Dier get's a yellow for his first foul. Ours to win provided this idiot of a ref doesn't screw up by showing his partiality to citeh

I think we are lacking a cutting edge so far, mainly because Kane, Eriksen and Son haven't really got into it so far.

Decent composed performance so far, but I have been a bit concerned with some of our positioning a few times when City have had the ball, runners going off Dier and Dembele in particular.

Bit of a cautious stalemate so far. Kept their forwards at bay for the most part. Wimmer and Rose, in particualr, are playing well.

Rose has been excellent.

Clattenburg has been a ****.
rose has done ok,defended well but we would have worked hart a fair bit if rose had used any of the excellent positions hes found himself in. biggest complement i can pay him is he has silva and aguero running back into their own half more often than not.

Can't remember us ever looking so comfortable and dominating at the etihad.....just need one classy through ball.
Kane is having stinker though so far......given the ball away every time.

We could play a lot better than that. To be fair City were shit themselves so it will all depend on who comes out firing second half. I'm confident it will be us. If its not then we're in trouble as even a languid Man City have the players to get something out of nothing. 3 points are there for the taking though.

An ok first half. All the possession but limited chances. Im worried they will come out more in the second half but i suppose that may give us more room to play.
65% possession just seen on tv
