The way to play against a pressing team is to play through them, play forward at pace, play forward passes in between the lines. That is what United have been doing and we have no answer. Tactics all wrong from the off. United are not as bad as their performances have suggested and giving them time and space allows them to exploit our weaknesses - runs off full backs, defending set plays, central defending.

For everyone who is slamming Bentaleb, remember how he played against Arsenal and Chelsea? He's 20, of course he's going to have a shocker occasionally. This can't be reduced to individual performances. We've collapsed as a team under pressure. This team has found it's ceiling.

Think that goes for the whole of the team, some seriously inexperienced heads out there - they'll learn from this.

This is just proof we need an anchor in the middle, I love what Bentaleb & Mason brings to the table but we simply cant ignore the fact we keep leaking in senseless goals. Whats scary is the fact Poch doesnt see this.

Maybe he cant

Our defending is dogs bollocks, united as I guessed have bypassed the midfield hitting long balls to Felleny and then it's so easy.

We have to get better defenders and more pace in the team....just hope we can score at least a goal

Walker and Townsend should not play together ever again. I've never seen two players who have no concept of teamwork as much as those two.

It's a general thing. Eriksen hasn't shielded Rose any better when he's played wide. In fact, he usually just lets the CM on that side get to it and he just drops centrally.

I some how expected this type of display from united and felt united were a wounded animal after the arsenal defeat. However we can come back here we definitely can. Early goal in second half and we can turn this around at least make the result respectable.

I think its harsh to just focus on Mason and Bentaleb. We have a front four (Effectively) who have neither pressed nor got in behind the ball. They are stuck in no mans land out of the game. It gives their man on the ball all the time in the world to come forward and engage our CM's or pick the pass from the countless options they have.

Our centre mids are over-run. Some of it their own fault, most of it due to the team just not functioning at all.

Pochetinho is niave pure and simple all we had to do was sit back and play on the break like everyone else does who wins at old Trafford like we have done the last two season when we beat them... Crazy selection and tactics. He plays the same way every game not sure he even scouts the opposition.. totally out thought today he needs to learn quickly has happened alot this season to be fair..
