Welcome to the ManU Vs Spurs Match Thread! COYS!

We want to bring the joy back into match days as these threads have just become full of over the top from at least a handful of posters. While we understand and have the same frustrations on the team and the performances the constant beating on the same players for just being picked is tiresome the same with going over how we didn't get more players in during the transfer window. We would rather not limit peoples access to this thread, so please before you hit post just read your post back...

STREAMING SITES

We cannot allow the posting of links to Streaming sites/apps and as a result of that do not allow posts asking for them as they invariably result in someone posting a link. Please do NOT hint at having, post or ask for links to streaming sites. The latest 'clever' way around this is to drop hints. That'll have to stop too I'm afraid as again, it results in people posting links.

We need an emphatic away win, and there is no better place than to do so at Old Trafford. If our players rise to the occasion and play with composure doing what they are individually good at, plying 3 5 2 with Bissouma coming in for Richarlson, we can do it. COYS

I’ve supported Spurs properly since around 2006. In this time I’ve seen us only win once in the league at The Emirates, Anfield and Stamford Bridge.

In this time we’ve won at Old Trafford a total of four times, which is more than the three above combined.

However, away to United is still the fixture we’ve experienced the most losses during this time because we actually haven’t drawn at OT since Jenas scored a free kick in 2005 to make it 1-1.

Incidentally I would take a draw on Wednesday but it would be a massive statement to go there and win as it would leave us 10 points clear in the table to United.

They're not great but I can't see us taking advantage of that.

I'd take a draw.

Also Amazon prime can absolutely do one.

I’ve supported Spurs ‘properly’ (as in consciously following games etc) since around 94 and we virtually never ever won at those grounds. There was the famous victory at Anfield in the FA cup but I am struggling to remember much else. I don’t think we ever won at Old Trafford whilst United were in their pomp. I am also struggling to remember more than two or three wins out of roughly sixty matches away to Arsenal. The strangest one was Chelsea though because they weren’t even good during the first half of the 90s.

We might get some semblance of neutrality with this being on Amazon instead of Sky.

I’m the same re timeframe (and obviously experience!)

I somehow feel there’s still an element of ‘mental block’ when it comes to the old guard of the prem

Feck this 'take a draw' shit.

They've improved somewhat, but they're not a United of old.

Let's get up there and Spank the Mancs

1) Goalkeeping howler
2) defensive blunder
3) referee mistake
4) opposition keeper puts in a MOTM performance
5) ball hits the back of the net but the referees fail to see therefore spurs goal dissallowed(search mendez kids).
6) A past it player scores a hat trick against Spurs.
7) needless red card

Usually one of the above happens when we go to Old trafford, stamford bridge, highbury and anfield.

whoever picks the right option gets a prize.

OT is the only ground of any of the other 6 "big" teams I always think we can get a win, and tomorrow is no different.

Then again, United fans will be thinking the same being at home to us, so there's little in it.

We rarely get anything from Old Trafford so I'd be delighted with a draw.

AVB and Sherwood both won there. They should suit us as they will go at us. He seems to want to play 3-4-3, if he does that Moura or Gil will have to play on the right. Not sure that’s a great idea .
3-5-2 is perfect for these games. Eriksen was ill at the weekend so presume he’s back.
Deki won’t be back , won’t take a risk and why should he.
