So, why exactly do you dislike him so much that you can't bear to imagine us purchasing him?Ok if he was the best LB at the World Cup I think he would have bigger fish to fry than us.
Don't cry, just said he wasn't all that! So, why exactly do you dislike him so much that you can't bear to imagine us purchasing him?
Question for you, how many times have you seen him play outside of the world cup? I guarantee you haven't. So no idea how you could come to the conclusion that you don't rate him as he was excellent in the world cup.Don't cry, just said he wasn't all that!
But then you flip-flopped to he was too good for us.Don't cry, just said he wasn't all that!
I think he'd easily be the best LB on the squad if he joined us. Plus he's actually a very good CB as well to backup Vertonghen at LCB. He's a very good player and filling in two squad spots very well would be extremely useful.
Ricardo rodriguez impressed me more and Aurier also. Rojo only looked good cause of tight defensive plan from the argentina manager. He was the weakest link in the Argentinian backline imo.
Ricardo Rodriguez was good going forward, but terrible defending.
Rodriguez wasn't terrible at defending in the WC.The "tight defensive plan" was only in the last 2 games, and part of the one against Belgium in which he didn't play, so I think that's not a good argument.
He was the best defender in the group stage where Argentina attacked all the time. He was also he best defender against the swiss. He didn't play against Belgium, and he had good games against Netherlands and Germany in which he had to face Robben and Muller.
The weakest link in Argentina was Federico Fernandez that was later changed for Demichelis. Then the weakest link became Zabaleta
I used to think he was not very good, but this WC he was amazing. This was the feeling in almost all Argentina. He is now considered in Argentina as the 3rd best player of the cup after Mascherano and Messi
Ricardo Rodriguez was good going forward, but terrible defending. And Aurier is a right back
Rodriguez wasn't terrible at defending in the WC.
He was good in every other game IMO. Also, he was still the best defender Vs France, the problem was 1) the CB's were both awful and 2) Hitzfeld seemed to set his tactics out to play to France's strengths an Switzerland's weaknesses. It was truly bizzare.Well, maybe not terrible, but he certainly wasn't good. Specially against France

No my good friend is huge sporting fan and says rojo is not epl type of player he lack athleticism which we need in a normal fullback these days. Rojo is better fit in la liga or serie a because he makes it up for it with his good defensive awareness. Im just saying he isnt the right player we need to fill lb position.I think what yo're trying to say is you had never heard of him so that means he's shite, right?
