The friendly between Netherlands and Italy today was played in Juve's stadium I believe they could have met or he could just completely be making it up. What you've said is correct but I don't think it's unrealistic that they'd be interested in the player. It's an opportunity to seriously consider.

Lots of salt, but IF we are only 5m away in valuation then that would put us in the final stages of bargaining, so would expect to be more widely reported pretty soon. Ajax will want media attention to at least attempt to draw a City bid and start a war.
