This is honestly like watching a match between a group of 12 year olds and a semi pro team. For all the talk of us having a strong spine and "beasts" like Dier, Dembele, Wanyama, Sissoko etc, we have looked so timid. Been a right bunch of gutless pussies tonight

Like someone mentioned in another thread having Dier as our defensive mid he just slotted in to the defence thus making us 3 at the back. This gave our wingbacks a space to get in behind. Now that doesn't happen and we are unrecognisable from the team we were last year.

But he will never be benched.

Dier, Dembele axis was awesome last season. Wanyama has muddled things.

Last season we had a TEAM - players knew their roles and the system and it worked beautifully until that team lost its head at Chelski. This season we don't have a TEAM - we have decent players functioning individually and frankly - it's crap.
What worries me the most is that Chelski (no team ethic last season) and Liverpool (improving all the time) have both moved ahead of us when we should have progressed.
This is MoPo's toughest spell ever as a manager. I hope he can see past his choices of ego and find a solution, else we will become majorly unstuck in the coming months.A massive regression is in progress and I'm not liking it one bit.
