I'm kind of looking forward to it, I reckon we will win but it'll probably be tight. (Hopefully I'm proved wrong and we'll batter them, but I wouldn't bet my life on it)

--------------------LLoris
Walker-----Verts-------Kaboul---Rose
------------------Capoue---------------
----Dembele-----Paulinho-----Bentaleb
------------Soldado------Adebayor------

As long as injuries/ Red cards dont affect the game then the subs would be Eriksen, Townsend and lennon to be brought on in the second half.

The theory behind this selection is having Walker and Rose they MUST provide the with and overlaps to force the wingers back.

Dembele to be used as a makeshift inverted winger putting pressure on both their fullback and their centre mid. allowing paulinho room to sneak in behind.

The reason Bentaleb plays is because he is not afraid to play the forward pass even to a player under pressure. this creates space around as long as the receiving player can cope with the ball under pressure (I believe that the majority of the time our front 5 can) then Soldado and Ade can concentrate on the box

the introduction of the subs will inject pace on tired legs along with the extra creative mind of eriksen to exploit any tired positioning amongst the Norwich defence

I think Eriksen has to start today. Norwich aren't a huge physical team and his skill a guile would be better opening doors from the offset. He also flourished against them during the home game.

I guess the good thing is we have these selection headaches and a few different playing style options based on the differing personal

I find I look forward to games a lot less when every other fucker seems to win before we play.

I would have had this down as 3 points nailed on before this weekend's results but now all I can think of is the Hull game.

I'm relatively pleased I'm at work and can't watch it really. I find this stage of the season particularly difficult to enjoy except for when we are the underdog. Just want to get through to the Chelsea/Arsenal and Pool games unscathed really so the end of the season is enjoyable.
