Not sure if it's already been posted, but here's a link to his highlights vs Monaco. Very mature performance!

I think people are underratiing what Chadli brings to the team once fit...the main asset being a goal scorer match winner.. Onomah looks to be in line to take over from Townsend who's looking likely to be sold.

Next season should be good for him, he is maturing into a fine player.

Can totally see why Pochettino and the coaching staff are trying to have him at ease in wider positions as well as the middle though.

If he can only play centrally and deep he is going to find himself and his development blocked by Dembele and Winks. Given that we need both to come through and they both need game time flexibility is key.

I just wish we could see him play in his natural position for us.

Admittedly he was playing against youth but he reminded of Dembele with his strength and bursts in the middle. Far from the finished product but a great player to try to emulate imho

It would certainly give us the fans an opportunity to judge him more fairly, I'll admit to being one of them who thought he wasn't going to make it. Seeing him in the u20 tournament and the highlights my opinion has shifted

Big big step up from U20 kids to Prem. if given a chance next season he will have to take it

I forgot what age he was, it seems like he's been around for ages. If he can perform like that in the Prem then we have a player on our hands. But thats asking a lot though.

BBC pundit Trevor Sinclair was impressed by Onomah. During the half time analysis, he said

"He's looked a man against boys at times. He looks so strong, so physical," said BBC pundit Trevor Sinclair. "His awareness and his change of direction with the ball and his passing ability, you know sometimes you're talking about getting in uncomfortable positions and players panic, but he doesn't.

"He just holds them off, he knows how strong he is and his end product has been superb. I've been really impressed with his performance."

His fellow pundit Danny Mills was also impressed by the midfielder and felt that England's tight-knit group had played its part in their success.
