A player that's only going to get better and better. There's nothing flash about him, but he's incredibly composed already and he's only going to become more powerful.

Everyone in here want to see him more. But I think Poch handling him well. Giving much chance (and not in the time when the match is done and dusted) without rushing him into the starting lineup. After all he is just 18 FFS

Wouldn't mind see him start against qarabag. Want to take as few first teamers as possible out there, especialy as we have chelsea on the sunday.

2 late sub appearances in a row, 2 late goals he's played a part of. One to kill the game against Villa and the winner yesterday. He's doing well and its great to see. Will he stick once Chadli and Pritchard return? I think he might. Especially if we sell Carroll and Townsend in January.

He's not even a winger either, which makes it more impressive. As he bulks up and acclimatizes to the professional leagues we have a specimen on our hands here.

Was his second appearance longer than the first? Hope he'll get a still longer period in our next Europa game. Think he'll be a revelation once he's gotten used to the pace of senior games.

Reminds me of Paul Pogba, as strange as that may sound. He has that same passive/awkward movement but is always efficient.

I don't like him at all on the wing, its not part of his game at all to be playing there, he is a CM/AM. He is best running at players in with space around

Its been said a lot actually and he does think he is like Pogba himself, though Onomah has very good vision and passing(his best asset imo) despite being a very good dribbler

You can see the potential, and Poch seems to trust him (judging by the timing of his last two appearances). Looks to have developed a bit physically, and I think he has accelerated the departures of Carroll and Townsend

Think Pochetino is handling him very well. He's had to be patient, but bringing him on against Villa with 5 minutes to go at 2-1 with the game very much alive, will have given the player a big boost that his manager has confidence in him. Then giving him even longer against Anderlecht when we needed a goal.

Plus playing him on the wing gives him more freedom and less pressure as Poch did with Alli playing behind the striker, despite the fact that in the long term we all know CM will be his (Alli's) best position.

I agree Townsend and Carroll are probably going to be moved on, given this young man's potential and the depth we have in this position with Chadli and Pritchard to return.

I think he'll see more and more game time as the season progresses and I don't think it will just be in the (supposedly) easier games. If Poch rates him he won't be afraid to use him even in the very big games. Reckon he'll get 20 minutes tomorrow maybe.

He's an impressive young lad and I think he'll do really well but he needs to build his upper body strength some.

I personally think the last short 3 sub appearances have done more for Onomah than 30 minutes vs Bournemouth would have. Bringing him on when we were under the cosh vs Villa, drawing 1-1 with Anderlecht and drawing and under the cosh vs Arsenal at 1-1 shows the trust Pochettino has in the kid.

That would be against the rules of the forum it's not against the rules of a forum to call players names as long as it's not racial or homophobic. Sometimes people are angry and frustrated and things get said, we might be on the same side but that's no reason to toe a party line. I think there are several labour MPs who are twats but I still support the party.

Unless it's about travellers.

Excellent 1st half from him tonight. Great to see Poch able to blood these talented youngsters properly and not have to throw them into games far too quickly

Another improvement in his performance tonight. Seems to be progressing with every appearance. Whisper it quietly but we could have another top player on our hands
