Aside from the obvious no. I'm pretty sure he has had loads to spend in terms of a League 2 club. I think anyone in League 2 with a bit of money to spend is gunna easily get top 3

The guy who is openly fascist. The one who has started brawls, assaulted refs and getting touchline bans, as well as saying he loves West Ham.

No thanks

What a crazy idea.

He's not even working miracles at Swindon. For the reasons you give, we might as well bring in Paul Sturrock.

That aside, he is an absoloute 4.21.15.20!

he is doing very well at Swindon , great character

can see his next job being in Italy though but I wouldn't demise him like other fans on here have

What's Paulo Di Canio's favourite position?

Right wing.

I'm here all week.

Having a fascist who is fond of doing the nazi salute, managing the team with the strongest association to the Jewish community outside of Tel Aviv is the political equivalent of dividing by zero.

At one point in his fledgling career, probably when he was Bobby Robson's translator with dreams and pretensions of being a football manager, no doubt the great Jose Mourinho was ridiculed and scoffed at for his lofty ambitions.

I've taken on board all the points raised by this topic but I have a gut feeling that Paolo Di Canio will turn out to be a very astute manager one day.

I could see him Kicking Adebayor on the arse as he comes off the pitch going down really well in our squad...

I think if you were to use your reasoning when suggesting either Brendon Rodgers or Paul Lambert you might have had a more reasonable response... Both with relatively low budget clubs competing with average squads in the prem...

Its not his 'lofty ambitions' we're scoffing at, its his 'fascist opinions', 'bonkers attitude', 'questionable temperament' and 'Swindon aren't doing that well in any case' that's causing the scoffing.

Plus we all know Paul Tisdale is the next Spurs manager anyway.

Brilliant

I wouldn't want him as our manager, but I have to say when I saw the news of him going to Swindon at the start of the season I thought he'd probably just rot down there. Impressive that he's managed to get them to the top of league 2
